Studying Romans Chapter 2 and came across this amazing word

“There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality” Romans 2:9-10

So one version says “upon every soul of man that doeth evil” and I thought the soul part was interesting so I went to the handy dandy Bible Hub to check out the Greek. 

(So psychēn is used 41 other times in the bible but other variations are used as well.)

So I followed the rabbit trail to the Strong’s Concordance and got this. 

And isn’t that just so beautiful!  

Free will and individuality and singular importance to God is right there, with every breath we breath and with every thought we have. 

Praise God for everything He does for us, and His never ending Grace! 

I also did a quick study of the word kindness that I still have to organize my thoughts on but wow that one was a cool change in perspective as well! I love digging into the Hebrew and Greek.

This is a beautiful thing to pray over others, so they can receive these blessings of complete confidence in God, His plans, and His power so they can then experience full peace in God and enjoy the moment of life they may be in despite the circumstances. The Holy Spirit empowering us supernaturally through anything.

Having blind trust in God is hard, we like having something solid in place and within sight but I know what God has done not just for me but for my family in the past, so I will stand on God’s solid ground patiently waiting on when He says “yes, it’s time to go”, growing further into His character while I wait.

Paul seemed to suggest in Romans 4:15 that without the law, there is no sin, no "transgression." In context, Paul did not indicate the there was no actual sin, but only that one cannot literally "break" a law unless they are rightly subject to it. Here, Paul again clarifies that point: It's not that sin did not exist before the law of Moses. Of course, human beings have always sinned since the garden. Instead, Paul says that specific sin was not counted against specific people before the law. It was not a transgression in the sense of breaking the written words of the law; it was simply sinful humanity expressing its sinful nature: self-serving, hurtful, deceptive, and immoral. The argument here, as in Romans 4:15, is entirely one of perspective. Humanity does not recognize sin when God does not give us something like the law: in our minds, those sins are not "counted." They are still sins, since we still ought to know better (Romans 1:18–20). The presence of the law does not turn righteousness into sin—it turns supposed ignorance into certain knowledge of our own wrongdoing. Paul has shown that sinful nature every human being was born into resulted in separation from God and in inevitable death.
