⚠️ Sermon: “No Respect of Persons — God’s Judgment on False Righteousness”

📖 Romans 2:7–11

God shows no favoritism. He saves neither through law nor through nation, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Paul warns that those who are “contentious and do not obey the truth” face God’s wrath — whether Jew or Gentile, conservative or liberal.

Many today preach a political gospel, claiming Christians must “take America back.” But Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” The gospel is not about seizing power but saving souls. True believers seek God’s glory, not man’s applause.

Christian nationalism replaces the cross with control, and pride with repentance. Yet God offers glory, honor, and peace to all who walk in truth.

Let us reject false gospels and remember:

✨ God has no favorites. His kingdom is eternal.

Romans 2:3-8

“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

The Bible says it better than any man could: you who pass judgement on someone else, are condemning yourself. Discrimination between black and whie, gay or straight, male or female, rich or poor, one religious belief and another.... the list goes on. This is seen as judging. You are judging someone who is different than you, but are they really that different? Passing someone on the street who is begging, you think that guy does not want to work otherwise he would find something to do even if it is cutting grass or washing cars. You have no right to judge that person because you have no idea who he is and what is going on in his life. But yet we all do it. We all judge someone before we even know them. Condemning them for being different than you. But just remember that in the process of condemning others you condemn yourself. Think about that the next time you judge someone.
