I'm honestly so tired of people making money off fanfic authors. And i don't quite have the energy at the moment to go through Romilly's 'book' to compare it to my fic. I will, but this weekend is for selfcare and napping.
Look, i'm not a big fic writer. I'm not even that good. I write fic sporadically at best, but having big chunks of a fic that i spent months on stolen and made into something utterly sub par (ie: even worse than what i actually wrote), and then sold by someone who actually made money out of it, well.....kinda makes me not want to bother writing anything ever again if i'm honest.
On the other hand, i guess it goes to show that even my frankly pathetic writing skills might actually be able to become a meagre side hustle. I mean, if the plagurised work turned out even more incoherent than what i wrote in the first place, its worth a shot, right?
Urgh....just like, don't steal other people's work ok? We fic writers do this shit for free. We slave over our work for weeks, months, sometimes even years, for free. So stop stealing our work. Its a really shitty thing to do.
