I MADE THE TWINS SUPER SUITS

Also drew them older designs-

VALENTIN AND ROSELYN LEBEAU MY BELOVED OCS ALL GROWN UP

I'm low key actually really proud of these designs

I referenced both my favorite Gambit and Rogue suit designs throughout the years and blended some influences from x men team suit designs I liked to get an idea for them that felt like they fit in the X men comics

I think they came out looking really cool!

Roselyn's power is energy absorption, which she is then able to manipulate into explosives, like Gambit She can transfer this into things making bombs or she can create a blast with it via from herself. So her suit is supposed to lean more active since she's got a more offensive power as well as just a more bright bubbly personality, so I wanted to emulate that with light colors and silhouette choices. You can't tell super well due to the front angle I drew but the diamonds on her legs are meant to shape into the X symbol. I also imagine the little sleeve cuffs and sleeveless top were intentionally inspired by Storm and Jubilee because Roselyn really looks up to them!

Valentin's power is absorbing and transferring people's memories, similar to how Rogue does, basically cataloging memories and knowledge in his brain. While this does allow him to have knowledge fighting wise by reading a persons memory, he is not a primarily combat fighter due to his own natural strength. That does not mean he can not fight though, Gambit and Rogue would never let their kid go out not being able to kick ass. But due to his lack of any physical powers, other than forcing someone to relive their most embarrassing memory mid fight, I tried for less sporty compared to his sister and more standard x men classic suit design. His suit is less bright (I say as he wears x men standard bright ass yellow). He also needs glasses day to day, so he wears goggles to protect his eyes and see, I like to think he goes up to Cyclops like 'same hat, mines cooler though'

They got matching utility belts like Ma and Pa aswell as matching sibling nose piercings as they are older, cause I just thought it'd be neat. Both twins' powers are touch based like their folks so they have fingerless gloves aswell

Just some of the details I thought of that I particularly like to think about

Oh and yes Gambit also gifted the twins their own cool jackets to match him and Rogues but I wanted to show off the suits here, maybe I'll draw the jackets another time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now all I have to do is think of potential superhero names for them, if anyone has idea suggestions I'd love to hear them :)

I imagine Kurt gifted them matching gold medallion necklaces when they were born and that he ugly sobbed when Romy told him they gave one of the twins his name as their middle name after him

He then politely asked if he could step out of the room to cry when he was asked to be their godfather because I believe in Rogue and Nightcrawler sibling rights and that Kurt would be the most doting uncle in the world, those kids are his entire pride and joy

Every visit ends up with a "Kurt can I have my child back" from either parent, and Kurt just gives the most pathetic sad puppy face asking to hold his Nichte and Neffe for just 5 more minutes pretty please

The twins love him to death and always ask him to play tag with them cause they think it's extra fun with his teleportation

They also really enjoy when he picks them up with his tail because I simply think that visual is amusing and just very very sweet thank you

Late night lullaby from papa Gambit

It's "Good Company" from Oliver and Company, and Gambit literally named one of his cats Oliver so of course I think he'd sing the song from the movie to his kiddos as a lullaby

TWINS AT THE HELLFIRE GALA

I saw the concept art for the next Hell fire Gala and Gambit and Rogue look so cunty

Plus in honor of Gambit getting his whore outfit updated in Marvel Rivals I wanted to try and do the older twins pretty

I think I could have done more extravagant but these are very much the twins style when you tell them to dress for a fancy party

Roselyn heard dress up and immediately started making her own fully custom outfit for the occasion, she loves any opportunity to play dress up

Meanwhile Valentin just had his sister pick something from what he already had in his closet cause he cannot dress himself for shit
