I have roses but not sure what to do with them

so my parents got roses for valentines. just two (one for each).  they did nothing but put them in a vase of water without changing the water so the roses have started to die

I took petals and leaves off, my friend had sent me leaves and stem pieces in case I could do anything with them

so i just have parts of roses siting on my desk

is there any magick I can do with them? preferably without my parents knowing or something with an easy excuse in case my parents catch me and question?

even if you cant think of anything witchcraft related maybe there's something else I can do with them?

The Allure Of Frost

Despite the below freezing overnight temps, the water fountain didn’t freeze:

The fountain didn’t freeze but our hummingbird feeders did. Although ruby-throats are the only hummingbirds that breed here & are long gone by now, we keep the feeders filled year round because our area sometimes get stray Western species like the Rufous hummingbird that, even though the numbers are small, seem to be increasingly overwintering here:
