I'm sure sooo many people have said this before but Josh gets shot running TOWARD the chaos in Rosslyn btw. he was safe and he turned BACK to try and get to his friends. talk about loyalty as a (nearly) fatal flaw...

(also the reason I'm rewatching this arc is bc I'm working on an AU where Zoey (and Gina) gets shot instead of Josh... in that fic, when Toby and CJ are trying to regroup and CJ doesn't even know if Jed is alive, Josh is the one to spot Charlie, covered in Zoey's blood, left reeling after she and Gina are taken to the hospital. Josh is the first one to realize. I think I'm gonna have him hug Charlie even though this covers them both in blood)

Fitz's trivia about the rug in the Oval Office is right up Jed's alley and the fact that Jed doesn't bite is sooo telling regarding his mood with everything to do with the pilot... and then when Hotchkiss is okay he's immediately jubilant! and the first thing he says is that he's gonna get Fitz an answer on the rug thing.
