It’s not too much, if anything it gives me more fuel of these ships, some questions may bring about future doodles :3

STARMIC

3)  Who compliments the other in front of everyone?

Starline absolutely compliments Mimic in front of everyone. Mimic gets flustered but the ego boost Starline gives him overrides that. Mimic prefers to compliment Starline when they’re alone because he wants to be the only one who gets to see Starline red and heart eyed.

4) Who is more likely to tell the other a pun and what is the other’s reaction to the pun?

Starline tells the pun (Issue 3 only further proves my point) usually when working through his plans or during a mission. Mimic’s response is to glare and just say Starline’s name. Starline smiles cause he knows he got to Mimic.

6) If they got to pick what one another wears for a day, what would one another wear?“

Im gonna draw this out cause it’s too good not too, but Starline dresses Mimic in every posh/masc lolita fashion (maroon color ofc) while Mimic puts Starline in black goth wear, hoods and dropped sleeves. Makes him go barefoot to prove a point since Starline nags on him for being barefoot

10) What is a small thing that one another does to make their partner happy?

Starline loves receiving little gifts/having little acts of servitude done. He also loves it when Mimic asks him questions about his work/allowing him to infodump Mimic likes being praised and having alone time with Starline (his favorite is resting in the bath together, candles lit, sipping on wine, all the works)

13) Who likes to give the other hugs from behind followed by a kiss? 

I have a hc that Starline doesn’t like to be touched without warning due to trauma (childhood/employment with Eggman), but Starline would be the one to hug Mimic from behind and kiss him, the first time he did this, it was a shock for Mimic cause assassin who’s on alert.

15) Who would bring their partner on a romantic date under the stars?

You know Starline would do this, cause Starline. Also may draw this in the future cause it’s too good also!

ROUGHLINE!

3)  Who compliments the other in front of everyone?

While Starline compliments Rough often, Rough does it way more often. His compliments are more of a “you’re so badass/cool doc!” in front of others, he prefers to get mushy when alone (he does have a cool guy image to uphold!)

5) When one of them has a bad day, what does the other do to help cheer them up?

Starline’s the same routine, Rough will reassure Starline and talk to him to the best of his ability since it’s all-new for him.  As for Rough, while he needs those validating words, physical affection is a must for him. He snuggles close to Starline and even holds him. Starline will hold him back and stroke his hair and rub his rubs while Rough gives a sad whine, this kind of love is such a new concept for him and he needs plenty when he’s down.

8) In a coffee shop AU, who would be the coffee shop employee and who would be the customer?

I can see it working in both ways tbh! Rough one day treating himself by going to a high quality coffee shop and Starline being the one takes his order/serves him. Rough catches feelings and keeps coming back (even if it eats up his wallet) and flirts with him.  Or it could be Starline frequenting a local coffee shop but there’s a new employee one day, Rough. Rough memorizes his order, waits eagerly for Starline and even takes breaks to sit with him

9) When they sit side by side, do they touch one another? For example, does one person has their arm around the other, do they sit holding hands, or linked arms, ECT.

Rough likes to link arms and hold Starline’s hand, but he’s also watched way too much tv and has done the whole “stretching but I’m actually wrapping my arm around you”. Starline likes to simply hold hands.

12) When did they know that loved each other, and when did they first tell each other that they loved one another?

Oooo this question lets me talk about my childhood friends hc for them! Rough actually realized this in their teens, Tumble teased his brother for having a crush but was very happy and supportive of him. Rough as much as he wanted to never pursued anything because he didn’t want to ruin the friendship as Starline was their only friend/felt he wasn’t good enough for him (they didnt have much self esteem back then). As for Starline he had feelings but assumed it was only because Rough was the only guy he was friendly with on his own will (Mother Contrafit controlled who he interacted with)  They never got to discuss their feelings though. Rough and Tumble’s orphange burned down and they left town, leaving Starline to believe that they had died.  In the events of IDW Starline had a feeling it was them, but accepting that would mean the scars from memories of his past/his feelings on their “death” would reopen and he wasn’t ready to accept that so he treated them as lackeys and pushed them aside. The skunks didn’t recognize him cause of transition and due to the fact they didn’t get much one on one time as Starline was busy with Eggman. In Bad Guys they spent more time together and Rough felt as if he’d known Starline for years. Little things would make him question if that was the little girl he used to play with all those years ago. Starline even started to catch feelings and kinda had an “ah shit” moment as he fell for this loud, brash skunk. A little revelation occurs when talking about their past and feelings flood in. It takes Rough a while to admit he had feelings for Starline, but gets surprised when Starline reciprocates. 

14) Who would make a playlist for the other person? What would be featured on the playlist?

Rough actually made him a playlist in their childhood, in the form of a mixtape ofc. Starline still has it as it’s one of the few gifts that were made with meaning. The songs on there are a mix of pop and emo/grunge songs. I can see Rough putting in Bubble Pop Electric by Gwen Stefani on there lmao

Wip on my 2nd lesson attempt for Hue and Saturation...I have no idea what I'm doing but I'll continue to push through and figure it out! I assume-hope that my next step is to do variants of lighting and contrast with values then add color?
