Tomoko Nozama (Kamen Rider Fourze)
She's a goth kid interested in the occult with the ability to sense the monsters even before they transform into human form, which is never explained or elaborated on in any way. Which might've been fine, were it not for the writers seeming to forget about her completely and not give her any arcs of her own except setting her up as the romance option for the secondary Rider for no reason with no preamble. But no, what makes this EXTRA egregious is the fact that every one of the main cast is introduced with their own mini-arc (including her) and there's a bit of a reprise of these towards the end of the show, with everybody getting a few eps focused on them. EXCEPT Tomoko doesn't get that; she just gets half an episode with a bit of focus on her that leads into the main villain and the final wrapup. And she was the character MOST poised to get another arc too as her background was never really explored in the same way others were. I just feel like she bled into the background a lot which is unfortunate considering her ability and the fact it's a fate shared by a lot of Kamen Rider ladies
Chloe Bourgeois (Miraculous Ladybug)
Cw: abuse, neglect; spoilers
haven't been in the fandom in a while so my memory is a bit fuzzy but the writers hate her sooooo bad it's not even funny. she started having a redemption arc where she realized the error of her ways and started working on herself as a person bc she wanted to be a hero and then did a 180° by siding with the villain. writer called her irredeemable multiple times on twitter despite the fact that she's just a spoiled bratty teenager who was also emotionally abused by her mother. her dad gets victimized despite the fact that he was complacent in the abuse and never tried to help her be a better person. overrall what the hell were you guys THINKING!!!

SHE HAD SO MUCH GOING FOR HER.... The writers tried giving her a redemption arc but then the creator of the show said that she, a TEENAGE GIRL, was incapable of change and redemption so all of that development was thrown in the trash and she became a shallow character again. Meanwhile, the creator gives a mini redemption arc to the MAIN VILLAIN, who literally ABUSED AND NEGLECTED HIS SON. She deserved so much better man

Typical Mean Girl character with an aborted redemption arc. Chloe has bullied the main protagonist Marinette Dupian-Cheng for a very long time. However, in Season 2 there was a beginning of a redemption arc that was wholly abandoned because the new showrunner deemed that a mean girl (who had an absentee/abusive mother and a limp noodle of a father) is evil incarnate and therefore can not be redeemed in good faith. The one good influence on Chloe's life abandoned her at the time of need and the fandom belittles and blames her for reverting back to her abusive ways when really she was left behind by the narrative. Even her own half-sister never gave her the time of day.
OH MY GOD. DUDE.Ok so she was a main (ish) villain within the first 1-3 seasons, but over time she was slowly getting a redemption arc, and we were getting more info about her past, and it turns out she was pretty heavily neglected as a kid (WHICH EXPLAINS WHY SHE WOULD ACT LIKE A BAD PERSON). And then, Thomas "dipshit" Astruc decided to THROW AWAY HER ENTIRE REDEMPTION ARC, AND WRITE HER OUT OF THE FUCKING SHOW!!!! AND THEY *REPLACED HER* WITH AN RANDOM NEW CHARACTER, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS LITERALLY ONE OF THE MAIN HEROES???? And when confronted about why the fuck he would write that, Thomas said that she COULDN'T BE REDEEMED. Mind you, this is a TEENAGER, and a abused one at that! I'm sorry if this sounds like like a 2010's YouTube cartoon reviewer ass rant but oh my lord ,,,Chloe I could've saved you

i havent watched nor caught up in a while, but from what i remember: she started out as a typical 1-dimensional mean girl, but then they gave her a surprising amount of depth?? like she got to be queen bee, learn responsibility as a superhero, she even is one of only a couple characters we know of to actually fight off hawkmoth's power. they were going to really interesting places with her character, and we were all excited for her redemption arc.
...and then they made her a flat villain again, taking away all of her complexity and development, and instead gave the powers and depth to a new sister of hers that suddenly arrived out of nowhere instead. what
BEST MODERN FAIRYTALE ADAPTATION! ROUND 1B, MATCH 1 OUT OF 4!
Which modern fairytale adaptation is the BEST?
Alice (2009)
The Path (2009)

Alice (2009) is based off Alice in Wonderland; The Path (2009) is based off Little Red Riding Hood.
Propaganda Under the Cut:
Alice (2009):
It had an all star cast (kathy bates and tim curry are in it!) And it had a fun aesthetic for the lands of oz, with the hearts castle being a casino. There are several plot twists about character alliances. Andrew leepott's Hatter is a complete sweetheart and we love him. Also the main pairing have good chemistry. The whole thing is uploaded to youtube (in like 240p but w/e) and its only about the length of a movie total so its definitely worth a watch. Its an all time fave for me.
An imaginatively wild, steam punk ride where an evil empire built on the exploitation of emotion-filled instant gratification is challenged by our motley crue of rebels lead by Alice, who helps bring down the whole house of cards with her bravery, friendship, loyalty and love.
The Path (2009):
An artistic and abstract story about six sisters at various stages of life who travel through the woods to their grandmother's house. They are told that they must stick to the path to be safe from the wolf, but if the player truly does stay on the path, of course, no growth or story occurs. Each girl has their own wolf, representing a truth she must face or a danger she must endure in order to grow up and learn her lesson. And Grandmother's house is strange and abstract as well. I adore these sorts of indie games so much.
He's literally a Disney princess, have you looked at him? The hair, the beautiful brown eyes? The definition of babygirl
beautiful man with the most beautiful eyes. killed his shitty abusive father. fell utterly in love for the first time. the biggest hearteyes ever. had his heart broken. hurt people that cared about him but was ultimately forgiven (I think?). feels really guilty (as he should). wanted to die and had a vision of his boyfriend as a merman.
Vash the Stampede:
He's just such a bleeding heart, has sad backstory with sad downsloped eyes and dramatic fashion sense. Loves too much and pays the price for it. Just so loveable, one determines he's babygirl on sight.
The 2023 version is more babygirl but his manga version is also very baby and very girl. Would put both images of him together since the design is different.
he's a blonde twunk with a slut waist and skank legs. and he's suffered more than jesus <3
pleeeeeease include a picture of maximum or 98 Vash and not just stampede Vash. theyre ALL babygirls, not just the stampede redesign. i wanna see his ugly ass broom hair on a poll too
He's simply THE baby girl, you know
He’s the most wanted man on the planet and he serves CUNT doing it, especially in the original manga. He’s also a biblically accurate angel-type-thing and an ace gunman who refuses to shoot back at the people who want his bounty :]
He's this super cool legendary gunman who terrifies everyone on the planet because he leaves destruction in his wake BUT it's not his fault because he's literally just chilling and everyone wants him dead for something he didn't do. He doesn't even like shooting people he just wants to maybe get some donuts and take a nice nap but nooo he walks into town and everyone decides "let's bullet hell this guy, cause massive property damage, and say it's his fault!" Also he's horrendously doomed by the narrative and the prettiest boy you ever did see. Look at those big ol blue eyes and tell me he's not babygirl. You'd be lying.
