Would Prince Soleil get jealous of other royals dancing with his betrothed? Would he show it or mask it till later? Or how would he handle his jealousy?

Yes, he does get jealous, and let me tell you something.

Prince Soleil doesn’t quite hold his jealousy with you well.

Sure! He can hold his jealousy with Knight Atlas fairly well! The people do not know he and Atlas are together nor should they. It’s expected as a single knight for Atlas to be flirted with or sent requests for marriages or even simply questions about his love life being answered with that he has married his job and has no love to speak of (which isn’t wrong, he cannot speak of the prince nor your royal self.)

But with you, that is much different.

He is married to you. You are his betrothed. That alone should be enough to tell people to back off. He is the prince of a rising kingdom, one that has proven to be strong. Why would someone mess with someone who is clearly his? Sure, he cannot claim you in front if anyone besides the way he grabs your hand as you walk or how he sometimes pushes to have a hand at your lower back to truly keep you close and guide you, but it isn’t as if he can kiss you with company. He cannot hold you in front of the other royals. And he certainly cannot stop you if you accept a dance with another royal. But you also cannot stop the way his face will drop and how his hands ball into noticeable fists as you dance.

He thinks he masks it fairly well, maybe he has a face of annoyance, but if you catch glimpse of him watching, his eyes are glaring the worst of looks i to your dance partner. His jaw is tight, his brows furrowed with cruel eyes and it looks as if he could walk over at any second to grasp you from their hold and start a fight in the middle of the ballroom. You sometimes see a hand of Knight Atlas’s on his shoulder physically holding him back until you are dropped off back at his side where he can quickly retake your hand, sneak another behind your back and glare daggers into the person just dancing with you until they are out if his sight.

Then? He gets quite grumpy with you, and clearly concerned. He’ll ask about your dance, but he’s pouting. You’ll finish the evening and he is closer than an inch apart from you but won’t look at you. You get ready for bed and he asks you

“You are mine, correct?”

Almost as if he’s questioning everything. And if you tell him yes?

He’s on you in a second. You are being undressed, he is trying to take control while kissing you and nipping at your skin and nearly begging you

“Please stay mine! It was not fair! You danced with them! Why not me? I am your betrothed and you are mine! I should dance with you always and forever! You cannot leave me, right? I cannot let you leave! Please. Please! You are my love! Stay my love!”

And he’s sloppy and clearly not used to being the one to be in full control, but he is trying for you and hoping it says something. Because he was jealous and it worried him so.

You have a giant baby prince who is going to be on you all night long to prove a point. He gets a little insecure to say the least.

More Jealous Prince Soleil asks <3 Would he ever get jealous with his kids? Not only of their other parent getting affection (or even his spouse giving kisses/hugs to the children) but of others giving his kids attention too? Like will his jealous/possessiveness also carry down to them? (actually the way I worded that makes it sound like I'm asking if the kids will also inherit his possessiveness and now I will be sending a second ask to ask that XD) (also now I kind of have this thought in my head of one of his kids introducing their best friend for the first time and doing that whole lil kid platonic love of 'no I love them the most!' or that 'we're going to get married cause I want to be with them forever' thing that some kids say - maybe they read one too many fairytales about running away or happily ever afters with a wedding idk XD)

Very much YES he would! Even if it's just because royal reader and Knight Atlas are getting or giving kisses and he is not getting any. Um? Papa Soleil would like kisses too!! Especially the kids that Atlas "steals" for his own, I feel like Prince Soleil gets a little pouty about sometime because "Hey, I'm your real papa! Why do you give daddy Atlas hugs but not real papa?"

Soleil tries to be normal about his kids, but when he sees them go to reader or daddy Knight Atlas too much, he gets pouty. But it is so much worse when they go to someone else, even his own parents. Like, taking his child out of the hands of THE QUEEN because he is jealous. I think Soleil would also be a hovering parent about who his kids hung out with and would PERISH if his kid became friends with another child from a royal family he didn't like. Like, probably would cry about it to you and Atlas in private it means so much to him. That's his baby!

But if he sees a kid hanging off his child, I do see him as the type of parent to separate them and say "Ahaha, no touching!" While fake laughing. Like he's just holding it together enough to not scold a child for touching his child.

If they talk about marriage and being together forever, I think Prince Soleil kind of just laughs along but always is like "Well, I would not say that quite yet!" or "You have so many years ahead of you, let us all slow down a bit!" or even "You would leave your papa alone to be with them? You would not want to leave your papa alone now, would you?" (If they said they would, it would destroy him for days. He's fragile.) (Don't ever let him hear his child wants to run away with someone, he will die of fright and a broken heart.)

He loves his children very much and wants to keep them all to himself sometimes. He's a very loving father and can't help but want to dote on them and have them love him as much as he does them.

If royal reader tries to teach knight atlas how to read would he be interested

Yes, he would, but he gets very frustrated with trying to learn if it isn't with material he isn't interested in. That doesn't mean he doesn't catch onto things well though! He can learn certain things fast. He can already read a few very very simple things like his name, Soleil's name, the Kingdom's name, and some short sayings like "Thank you" and "You are Welcome" if he gets a little help (though he hates asking for help, so some times, he just guesses and moves on.) He can only truly write his own name and can copy some words in hopes it makes sense. He does NOT write well. It's very sloppy, and he's horrible with a pen and ink. It gets everywhere and stains everything.

He will try extra hard to impress if it's the royal reader teaching him though! He does take failures extra hard if you're the one teaching as well in return. He wants to prove to you that he can do it easily, and when he fails on something, it's a kick to his gut. But he won't give up. He's stubborn.

We must be careful. Knight Atlas needed to be debuffed! He's too strong for his own good he's going to overthrow the prince! /lh

So you've answered asks for dates Soleil and Atlas would take the reader on, but could we know what kind of date they'd want to go on? Like their ideal date a partner would take them on.

Prince Soleil wants you to sneak him away. He doesn't care where, he doesn't really care what you do. He just wants to go somewhere undercover without anyone knowing so it's just the two of you messing around and acting like regular civilians without the constant eyes on you both. He wants to have the pressure of being the Prince off his mind and he just wants to enjoy silly time with you. Maybe take him to market or a tavern. Spend the day riding around after on your horse(es), buy each other silly little trinkets. Take him to an inn after. Show him a nice time in a mediocre bed and stay the night so he can wake up next to you and think of how a normal life with you would be. He'll love it. AND THEN STAY WITH HIM AS ATLAS YELLS AT YOU BOTH FOR DISAPPEARING. (Steven is not happy with you either, he's waiting in line to do the scolding next.)

Knight Atlas wants you to do something playful and adventurous with him. Do something risky with him. Not necessarily sexual, but it could be if you wanted it to be! He wants to relax from his constant station as well. Show him a good ol regular time, too. Don't think of him as a knight. Just think of him as Atlas. He really wants to be the one doing most of the date planning though. It makes him feel competent and he likes surprising you more than getting surprised. Get good food with him at the end of the day and a lot of it! Let him eat his fill with you and let him enjoy the little things. And then snuggle that man! Let him be the little spoon!! He'll feel special <3

knight Atlas reaction to being summoned during the MC giving birth due to Soleil being unavailable (sensitive negotiations or something) and the messenger saying they were told to repeat to him the exact words “if I cannot have my husband here, then by gods I’ll have my knight or someone is getting beheaded!” (Note: everyone knows there would be no actual beheading because of the MC’s temperament, but labor be crazy.)

Knight Atlas is not your knight, but if you called him your knight, he’d feel pretty cocky about it.

He’d probably laugh in your knight, Knight Steven’s, face before tagging out for Steven to watch Prince Soleil while he goes to help you with childbirth.

It’s probably for the best that the Prince isn’t the one helping. He’s panicky and all over the place at best with you giving birth. Not only his precious wedded, but HIS CHILD are involved and those are very big things to him. Atlas at least can keep a straight head on and help you through labor better. He’s probably gotten some great tips from the medical staff.

(You probably aren’t the first person Atlas has helped through labor either. I can see a few of the women knights asking for his assistance because he’s better than their husbands with watching them in pain and taking their verbal beatings and he’s also the most levelheaded man they know who they can rip to pieces during labor and he’ll be fine about it later. Like a “Sorry I tore your sleeve off your shirt, crushed your pinky finger, and called you a pack mule while I was giving birth.” And he’d come back like “You had larger issues at that moment to take care of. I can get a new shirt and my pinky will be fine. You’ve called me worse during training. Congratulations on your child.”)

How would the royal au boys react to an accident prone reader

Down pillows secured to you to make you invincible with heavy leather gloves and big strong boots.

But in all seriousness, lots of handholding while walking and such! They'd offer to do things for you all the time, and if you deny, at least ask that they help in someway to avoid any accidents. They find little work arounds to make things a little safer for you in case accidents become dangerous. I imagine that Prince Soleil doesn't let you around the ink for writing unless someone is holding the inkwell, and riding your horse alone is forbidden in Atlas's opinion. Let him deal with the horses and ride with him instead. I think you are never left alone (not that you are normally in the AU, but I think it is worse if they know you are prone to accidents. They do not want to take chances.) Good luck getting room to breathe, they are crazy about keeping you safe!
