Concept Art -- The Scribe -- Body Types

HOLY HECK WE GOT A LIL BIT OF CONCEPT ART! Namely, concepting for options that’ll be available for the player-character, whom I will generally refer to as The Scribe. Today we got body types; because man am I sick of every RPG casting you either as a muscular many man man or a whispy lil waif. So we got a few different shapes, as well as the ability to toggle various other features [breasts, ambiguous penis bulge] on and off. 

Next up: Faces.

Just a small disclaimer again, once the project is finished I’ll give proper credit to as many of those who made the original versions of most of these as I possibly can find since they were only customized and recolored for my Danny Phantom fan-game in rpg maker project  called “Ravenheart Manor” based on the fanfiction I’m writing that’s currently still on hold. Really the only parts that are 100% original works of my own are the raven’s used on the flags as a crest and the standalone ones. Apart from that the most time consuming tiles I edited were the vines and roses to look like the two versions of Blood Blossoms in my Danny Phantom fanfic “The Grimoire.” And finally, yes, these have all been tested in-game and they all work for the most part except maybe the three bushes above the arch which you might need to move to their own tileset if you don’t like how they aline on your in-game map, for my purposes though they’re fine.

I've been thinking for better name than "Arcane Girls". I suppose original idea was more in style of Magical Girls then what I've made of it.

Do You Gals, Pals and Guys have any suggestions?

In this magical world humans live in great cities with modern-ish technology. Cities are connected with each other by train tracks and highways. Outside are The Wilds, vast dangerous lands and "There Be Dragons"

Players take a role of Arcanians, people with born connection to magic of Universe. Not exclusively girls or boys, but kind of magical youngsters. They are able, but not obliterated to do heroic acts. Instead of fighting monstrous invasions, they can clean infestations of beasts in sewers, go into the wilds to extract rare materials, or rescue miners from collapsed metro outside city.

All sorts of things that fantasy adventures can do.

Ravenheart Manor Demo Annoucement!

Good news everyone! I’ve officially finished the map layout of Ravenheart Manor in my rpg maker project! Which means now I can get to the meat of the project which will be adding more story related lore. There are plenty of other surprises in the works but one of the hardest parts is finished. As a teaser for the project I’d like to share a few screenshots with you, which hopefully won’t spoil too much and will showcase how much as changed since I first started it. Without further ado, here we go! Oh and as a general note once the demo is available, inspect as much as you can, including the furniture since there will be some hidden surprises!
