Apparently that’s not really a thing here anymore! I’d asked about that, and was told most “summer school” is done online -- assuming they even have it this year!

rpgwizzard said: Them stats look sketchy
Oh, my, yes. The very best a level 1 character could have is a 20 and a 19, and that’s if they’d rolled two 18s (improbable, but not impossible) and then chose a race that gave +2 to one stat & +1 to another (like most non-human races do). Starting with three 20s and a 19? Nooope.
We’ll see if they show tomorrow and want to make characters under our watch.

What's funny is that I am the cleric in our current group, and multi-classed Bard. Thanks to that I'm also the character with the best area attacks. (Thank you Bard of Lore.)
Our backline consists of the healing sorcerer variant and a warlock so we have basically no ability to deal with more than one target at a time
D&D asks: 6. What is your favorite class? 19.What level do you as a player prefer to start as? Ask me some back!
6. What is your favorite class?
I usually play cerebral types, so Wizard’s often my go-to class. But the limited spell selection of Sorcerers and Warlock some appeal, too. I also like Barbarian and Monk, because sometimes you just want to hit things.
19. What level do you as a player prefer to start as?
If it’s a system/edition I’ve never played before, 1st. Same goes for if I’m with a group that has members who’ve never played. But it it’s an edition I know and all the players know it well, I like to stat around 4 or 5, have some nifty tricks and the ability to not die from one (un)lucky hit.
(questions can be seen here)

Nope, just a light drizzle, and temps in the 40s-50s.
Navy. Much more Navy,
Yeesss
rpgwizzard replied to your post “just ran a numenera one shot for my D&D group and I have to say that...”
I played in a Numenera one-shot recently. It was awesome!
I think it’s well set up for one shotting and the one shot specific splat book is pretty good
D&D: Cleric or Wizard?
Cleric. Because if I’m going to have to micromanage my way through keeping track of memorized spells (uggggh, I play spontaneous caster for a reason) then at least I want to get to hit people with a mace and hold power over who lives and dies.
