ok, so i’m not sure if i’ve mentioned it before, but the rutgers school of dental medicine in newark is the tops. they provide such good care whenever i’m there, all the students/dentists who’ve worked with me have had excellent bedside manners, and they really went to bat for me to make insurance approve my night guard (bc for some reason insurance is really reluctant to approve something that would cost about $800, but could prevent thousands of dollars worth of dental issues down the road?)
if you’re in northern nj and on medicaid or uninsured, i really recommend rsdm if you need any kind of specialized care beyond what your local clinic can provide. dental schools in general can be a great way to get treatment if on medicaid or uninsured because they will generally charge less than a regular practice because it is a teaching environment, but the level of care is still way up there.
dudes, i’m just so happy they helped me w/ my tooth/jaw pain/getting me my appliance, i just wanna give them props :)
