Happy 21st birthday, Rooster Teeth. I'm gonna miss this company. I'm a fairly new fan (been watching since 2017) but the impact RT has had on my life is something I am forever grateful for.

RT has given me lifelong friends, introduced me to amazing content creators I love, and helped me find my passion in video editing and art.

Happy I got to be a part of it while it lasted. Thank you Rooster Teeth and RT community❤️💙

GRIF TIME! I think this may have actually been the first time I’ve drawn him digitally, which is weird to think about. I like how his design ended up, though; him and my next design for Kai are very inspired by creatixanimi’s versions. 

Notes about orange man:

- So, yes, his uniform should technically be gold since he’s in Security in a TNG-inspired setting, but one of the original canons for this AU I established was that Sarge makes all his crewmembers wear red no matter what the rank, which is why Simmons isn’t in blue. Plus, I wanted to play on Grif being a Redshirt who absolutely suffers from the Redshirt curse. He just hasn’t died yet!

- One of the biggest design changes I made for Grif and Simmons is the origin of their cyborg/patchwork parts, in that they’re not related to each other. Simmons’s is from a explosion when he was on Romulus, and Grif’s is from the various injuries he’s suffered over the years. 

- Technically, Grif should be a Lieutenant like the rest of the Reds, but I think it’s funny if Sarge just refuses to promote him. Sorry, Grif, at least in the first part of this hypothetical show you’ll always be an ensign. 

- Him joining Starfleet would follow the same pattern it does in the show, where throughout most of it he insists that he was pressured into it by the people around him on Earth, but eventually he would admit he joined to run away from his home life.

Camp Camp Now Now!

In June 2016, RoosterTeeth introduced Max, David, and the rest of Camp Campbell, to the world.

We've had a lot of fun and some great memories since then, huh? The Order of the Sparrow, Parents' Day, Camp Corp...

But summer has to come to end at some point, and the kids have to go home. And those of us still here think we should pack our bags for summer camp one last time.

A lot of love and soul was put into Camp Camp and we know it! We feel it! We create from it – so many talented artists, writers, and editors adding to this story because we want to know more! We want to do more! 

This is our mission statement. All it is is just us, a group of dedicated fans, asking for one more thing: season 5! What do you say?

We'll be waiting!

Squashing Camp Camp Rumors & Misinformation

Hello, I have not been very active on tumblr the past few months, but I was just perusing the site along with the #campcamp tag and boy, you guys are freakin’ out lately! So I wanted to try to help squash any rumors and quell some fears regarding the show. Here we go:

1. Camp Camp is canceled - This is false! We do not actively cancel shows we own and/or produce, because there is no benefit to that. However, in the new Rooster Teeth business model, Camp Camp is now a RT Studios show which means we no longer have the ability to produce it on our own. So we are actively shopping it and looking for a partner to help make it! When will this happen? I don’t know, but rest assured we are doing our best and have not given up on it.

2. Miles’ departure means Camp Camp has no future - Ah!!! No!!! Guys, Miles is just one part of the Camp Camp creative team. Yes, he is the co-creator and partners with me on many episodes for writing, but I am still here, fighting for the show every day! I have been the showrunner for every season of the show, and I will continue to play a major role in the show’s creative. If we’re able to continue the show, we will undoubtedly extend Miles an invitation to be in the writer’s room, along with our usual suspects of full-time and contract writers.

3. Camp Camp will be totally different if you partner with another company to make it - This one is just people speculating so they can have something to doom and gloom about. Obviously I cannot predict the future, so I don’t know what kind of deal will get struck if and when we find a partner for Camp Camp. But in my experience we have been pretty fortunate to have creative partners who trust us to do what we do best, so I would expect that to remain true for Camp Camp. However, it is pointless to speculate on this at this point in time.

4. Miles leaving means he will no longer voice David - This one is particularly befuddling to me, but still false. Miles is no longer a full-time Rooster Teeth employee, but he is still involved with shows like RWBY. For instance, he’ll still be voicing Juane, so his departure has zero impact on that show continuing. The majority of the Camp Camp cast are contract voice actors, so there is no reason Miles would not return to voice David in the future. Calm down!

5. Gwen wears a hat - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
