My sister convinced me to start watching Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The deal was that she’d watch Voltron and I’d watch Rise.
According to her, it was a fair deal.
The thing is, she forgot one small detail.
I’M the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan.
My eight-year-old self went everywhere wearing the same Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hoodie (2012). Or my current self, who’s wearing a hoodie from the ’87 series right now.
She thinks she won.
Anyway, I’d been wanting to watch it for a while, even though figuring out where to find it was quite an odyssey.
And one of the reasons was the ship between Leo and Yuichi Usagi—a very interesting couple.
The thing is, I’ve already read most of the fanfics for that ship, and I still haven’t found exactly the kind of story I want.
They come pretty close, but they’re still too sweet for my bitter soul, which survives on emotional anguish.
And like I was saying, there isn’t even a tag for what I’m looking for.
So… should I write it myself?
Because I also found an incredible AU based on a Dandadan fanart (yes, fanarts fuel my creative delusions), but I don’t know how to proceed between this idea and a couple of others that have already piled up.
