plotting my running comeback! it's been a good read so far!
i've been running again lately, and it's been feeling amazing! no pain and hitting times slightly faster than I was pre-injury. here's hoping that I continue with the way things are going!
progress picture on my incision. three weeks out and i'm finally out of all splints and casts. i'll still be wearing my walking boot for a while, even though i won't be walking for another week or so. i've decided over the last week or so that my return to running next week will include a half marathon. it'll be a fall race, but i'm not going to force it or set a time goal. in june or july, if i'm feeling alright, i'll go ahead and register. but i'm not going to force anything on myself. if it comes, it comes. if my body just isn't ready, then it just won't be ready. my number one priority is a safe and healthy recovery.
