Mulheres de Coragem (Women of Courage) by brazilian children's writer Ruth Rocha, an illustrated anthology of three stories set in a medieval cenario, taking inspiration from actual history, Chivalric Romance, Fairy Tales, Myths and Legends to tell three stories about women that show courage in face of distress trough different ways.
The first story was about the peasant women who tooked care of the wounded and ill man in times of war. The second story was of a young noble lady who disguises herself as a man to represent her father in the army. The third was the story of a young woman who falls in love with a young man without knowing he is the Arranged Fiancee that her father choosed for her and she feared so much to meet.
