do you ever wondered "why there is scavs? what to do with em? why they exist?" arti is here to give you some advice !!!

scavs can be a great meal: ~ !!!

-grilled scav! very juicy and tasty. kinda tastes like earthy shellfish..? dont forget to add some spices.

-scav soup! warm and filling! goes great with plants.

-scav stir-fry! delicious and healthy. goes great with seeds or eggbug eggs.

tasty right?

you can make many different meals with scav meat! but of course there will be extras: ~ !!!

-scav skull! you can make it into a mask! cool right?

-scav bone! very hard and sturdy. can be useful to carve tools or weapons.

-accessories/necklaces! claws, hands, eyeballs... very fashionable.

-scav pelt! its not that soft... but it can be a rug or a clothing. it can keep you warm and dressed!

-scav taxidermy! artis fav! do you wanna remember your fun scav hunts? this would be your choice! plus it is nice furniture to your shelter.

nothing goes to waste !!! YEAHH!

New slugcat headcanon: they have long tongues like numbats! Saint’s species of slugcat evolved to use their tongue as a tool, eventually getting the ability to use it to carry and swing their own weight. Considering scugs having bugs in their diet, it might make sense to have it, since long, sticky tongues are typically used to get insects out of tight spaces. Why wouldn’t the others use their tongue, then? It could be a leftover trait from smaller ancestors, or it’s too short to be useful, and their hands are longer/easier to manipulate.

I don’t know, I just had the idea yesterday because my friend mentioned the existence of numbats.
