Kosuke is a free spirit with a likable attitude and very little direct hatred towards anyone. His caring nature drives him to take care of Kengan fighters by donating to the medical center and running private fights to raise money for suicide prevention programs, LGBT+ support groups, and food drives.

🌼 History: Kosuke was born to Katahara Metsudo’s late sister, Yuzi and her late husband, Ogan. After losing them at age sixteen, Katahara took it upon himself to raise the boy until he was ready for college and the workforce. After turning nineteen, he became the announcer for large scale Kengan fights and was able to pay for college in Japan, majoring in physical therapy and minoring in sports medicine. For four years, Kosuke dated Omori before ending the relationship after he became extremely clingy, pleading that his partner leave college and only be supported by him. Now, he works in the Kengan Association full time with the support of his uncle and cousin, Sayaka.

Fun Facts

🌼 He speaks fluent Japanese and Russian due to his heritage. For most of his childhood, he grew up in Moscow, Russia before being moved to Tokyo, Japan for his later teenage and early adult years. He travels between countries, living in a khrushchevka complex for six months and a traditional Japanese minka for the remainder of the year.

🌼 He is best friends with Haruo, Cosmo, and Inaba. The four of them have been besties for over a year and do all sorts of fun things together. Cons, restaurant hopping, trading card games, video game nights, etc. He’d do anything for these idiots.

🌼 Body count? Ridiculously high! Kosuke is more yearned after than an uke in a bl manhwa by most of the Kengan organization, including his ex-boyfriend, Omori, who still yearns for the revival of their relationship.
