Summary: When a young teenage girl is kidnapped from her home, a fast food worker miles away collapses on the job, apparently experiencing exactly what the child is feeling. When Mulder learns that the woman was kidnapped and held hostage for years as a child, he begins to believe that she may be the key to help find the missing girl.

watched the freaking tracey lambert and penelope getting shot episodes last night. never eating chilli again after that. am i wrong to say that the priest was kind of good looking? also, jj's a complete badass, i love the bau women.

The thing that is truly wonderful about this episode is not Rod from another dimension. It's Sheppard going out of his way to help Rodney heal his relationship with his sister. If anyone knows how annoying and arrogant Rodney can be, it's Sheppard. But if anyone knows how courageous and caring Rodney can be, it's Sheppard.

Sheppard listens to Rodney talk about not liking Rod, he helps Rodney get to the point of understanding why his sister is upset with him, and then he helps him heal that relationship.

And then, he takes it one step further and rebuilds Rodney's faith in his friends, that they love him and want him around.

Such a great episode. It always makes me tear up when Rodney and Jeanie fix things.

Also, I love that Jeanie is a mom and is happy to be so. I love her house, her wardrobe, her relationship with her husband and daughter. I love that she isn't thrown under the bus for the choices she makes or devalued next to Elizabeth and Carter. In fact, Rod praises her for being the best mom he knows. High praise indeeded.

Ok, so I met Merlin… not sure I like this guy. Not living up to my expectations so far

I had heard that some people didn't like season 3 as much as the first 2 and let me just say, so far, having finished the first 8 episodes, I think those people are out of their minds. This season is brilliant. Maybe it's just more niche and tailor made for theater people? Because so far this season is right up my alley lol. So, unless the next two episodes severely fuck up sticking the landing, I think it's probably some non-theater kids feeling a little alienated by just how specific some of the humor this season is. It feels like a love letter to theater nerds everywhere.

So far the show's only true crime is not having Matthew Broderick run into Teddy Dimas (Nathan Lane) in the elevator, and they still have 2 episodes left to fix that this season.
