ok but i love grace and kat's storyline in packing light so much like my gf and i have literally been talking about this for ages, that they are so similar in their upbringing and their experiences with their parents but that they turned out so fundamentally different bc kat had such an amazing support system in her brother and her friends and grace didn't. and now they both desire what the other has and think they have no right to complain about their life, kat wants grace's talent and technical perfection and grace wants kat's support system and ahhh the intricacies i'm going insane

The colour of the rich, Pendragon cloak blooms in the warm light of spring. The sharp thorn of love threatens to draw blood, then. As days grow longer, hearts grow fonder. With flushed faces, abandoned stations and duties— affection taints the air thick as the very oxygen breathed. Touches become electric, and glances grow heated.

Like the first rose of midspring, love blossoms in the hearts of two men closer than any.

“Arthur?” Merlin murmured late one night, as he prepped the bed for the King to retire. Moonlight poured through the window, and the warlock almost glowed as he was bathed in it.

The soft, tender way the name fell from his lips send a shiver down the King’s body, causing an outbreak of gooseflesh atop his skin. “Merlin?”

“It’s time for you to rest, Sire… You’ve worked hard enough today.”
