"I thought for sure that day in the grocery store, you were gonna take a swing at me."
"Not that you didn't deserve it, but I wouldn't do that. You're on blood thinners."
"Well, I'd still take you."
"You think so?"
"I know. You wanna go for the title?"

Anime Levi #1044
Episode 46 - 壁の王 (Ruler of the Walls)
A collection of Javier Peña slowly losing patience and looking unfairly handsome while doing it
The sheer amount of stress in his eyes is making me feral
I would rawdog him so fast
We need to talk about how much potential the series wasted
The Beast Within and the Beast as a whole is SUCH a BBRae coded concept.
We've seen the Beast in a total of two episodes, one being TBW, and the other The End — Part 1, where he was protecting Raven.
And guess who else has an uncontrollable and dangerous """evil""" side? Well Raven of course.
So why is it THAT IT'S NEVER ADDRESSED IN THE SERIES? IT'S SO PERFECT, EVERY PIECE FITS TOGETHER FLAWLESSLY, THERE'S SO MUCH POTENTIAL SO WHY?
I already felt like we got robbed with Raven's demon side because it's really interesting, but imagine the two of them interacting, it'd be SO exciting! Would they recognize each other? Would they not care about each other? Would they fight? Would they still try to protect each other with their life? (My HC is the last one... Now I'm thinking about drawing their first interaction... Going on my list of ideas)
Imagine how they would fight together. They can both be crazy powerful and I feel like they would just make a PERFECT duo.
Or what if we look at it from an emotional/friendship perspective?
Imagine how much they would be able to help each other and how much they could relate. This is such a similar struggle, and I'm sure that while Raven would be able to help Beast Boy stay calm, grounded and control the Beast, Beast Boy would be able to pull Raven out of the trap she's in, the endless repression of her emotions that is just so unhealthy and, in my opinion, won't work forever.
He already does that btw, by stubbornly trying to make her smile or laugh every time he gets a chance.
I also think they would handle a situation where one of them lost control really well, because they know what it feels like and how to help it, which would probably also make them feel safer around each other during a more emotional moment.
(I also HC them to eventually learn to have control over their "evil" sides and use them more often because I just love them so much)
It actually really surprises me sometimes how many similarities these two has, not only regarding their "evil" sides, but also how they mask their emotions with different kinds of humor, they both had their hearts broken and they're both completely missunderstood people regarding their emotions, and many more.
I'm writing this at 11pm and I'm... tired, so forgive me if I made any grammar mistakes
If anything else comes to my mind about the topic I'll add onto it.
the way flint&silver talked about themselves as an us. disgusting.
