After School Special

Adam Kane, who directed just this one episode of Spn, did wonders with the cinematography. The camera angles were unusual and interesting. The locations were stunning and he shot Baby lovingly and with a great deal of care.

This scene is so well shot and edited. The boys having a moment in Baby - Dean's rain swept image clearing up while Sam's image moves in and out of shadows. Stunning!

Hello here, it's been a while. S4E13.

I'm happy about Sam talking to the teacher who help him and inspire him to be other than being an hunter. I love this moment. But.. i want a moment between Dean and Amanda more. I know the focus it's on Sam this episode. And with my rambling you know i love Dean more and maybe it's just that, my little favorite and all shit.

But we had parallels between Sam and Dean during the last section of the episode. I want an Amanda seeing Dean and be like "you're a grow up. You're still sad and lonely."

Or just Dean talking to her and saying "You were right. I was a sad, lonely kid. But it's ok now." Kinda

Don't know. Just thinking about it.

Callback Parallel S4x13/S7x07 Speculation: Patented Blake Motivational Speech Incoming! 

The order that the paint/blood goes onto Echo’s face seems to be reversed, however. In S4x13, Echo paints her face, Bellamy walks in, and they talk. In S7x07, it looks like Octavia and Echo talk, then Echo scarifies her face and draws nightblood. 

If I’m right, I’m looking forward to seeing what this symbolism could portend for Echo’s journey. In S4x13, Bellamy persuades Echo to join spacekru by the end of their talk. In S7x07, Echo applying the blood after her talk with Octavia may signify her departure from spacekru to re-embrace to her Grounder/Azgeda traditions. Speculating even further, as a former Azgeda general and a nightblood she has the cred and fighting/tactical/leadership skills to challenge Russheida for Wonkru’s loyalty.
