Being a "safe person" means listening more than you speak, holding stories quietly, and guiding only when asked.

Consistency, empathy, and keeping confidences turn comfort into real healing.

We were suppose to be their safe space, their "safe people".

We were suppose to love them through the ups and downs, twists and turns.

So many people have forgotten who it is we are suppose to be supporting and loving.

We were meant to virtually hold them up when the going got tough.

We were meant to love them when they felt all alone.

We were meant to help lift their souls when they fell into the darkness.

We were meant to support 7 men who changed our lives, helped us through the darkness, who virtually held our hands, who are our safe zone.

Listen you don't have to like all 7 members. But what you should remember is to respect your bias. Respect their decisions, their ideas, their plans. They know their lives, we do NOT.
