Imagine Sage being obsessed with knowing more about Healer and how he sees the world

Sage actively looking for Healer to talk to him about random topics to maybe see what opinions he has. Sage lingering around town to watch how Healer handles the town's children. Sage bringing as many gifts as he can for Healer to learn more about his tastes

Sage would be fascinated by this Vanilla Healer that just popped up outta nowhere and knows all these old remedies and elixir recipes that've been lost to time.

But, most frustratingly, Healer would be like "so, you add a little of this and a little of that."

Sage's eyes widen, "And how much would you say is 'a little'?"

Healer would shrug and just scoop up a handful of crushed herbs, "I dunno, like a handful I guess?"

Sage tries hard not to have an aneurysm.

Sage also tries hard to get Healer out of his drab, old, raggedy robes. He needs something befitting a healer with his knowledge. Something befitting someone with ancient wisdom. Something more like...him.

Random thought based on some dynamics I rarely see-

SageHealer. Specifically Sage of Truth coming to see what he can learn about his missing other half, only to discover him- it has to be him- stricken with amnesia in the Raisin Village. The two bond with Healer not entirely sure whether to believe Sage's claim that he's Pure Vanilla, but if it's true Sage would know, right?

Which leads to PureSage after Sage helps Pure Vanilla reclaim the Vanilla Kingdom. Dark Enchantress is free but Pure Vanilla is back and Sage, while he does miss Healer a little bit, is eager to get to know him. And based on Pure Vanilla's look when he stopped by his room, the sentiment is returned.

Idk why, but I got to the end of this ask and said, out loud, "Ayo, man, this shit looks pretty good, man...where yo' clothes at?"

Uuuuuugh SageHealer is such a cool concept!

The veritable god and the hobo healer??

OH! And especially if they have their more animal-like characteristics!!

Sage, who blabs on and on to Healer Cookie while he preens his fathers.

Healer, who scratches Sage under his chin and around his ears to calm him down (and see his tail wag).

How does Sage React to Healer's Staff? Since it's technically alive and Healer uses it to see Sage might lose his mind at how casually Healer talks about it.

He'd be fascinated by it for sure

"You grew this??"

"Fascinating...and the spell you use to connect to it, is it one you must redo daily? Or is it permanent?"

"Well, I'd considered doing a daily spell, but — *goes into an explanation at length that basically boils down to 'it now has a personality and won't work for just anyone anyways, so it's a permanent spell fixed in place'* — so, yeah. Haha, I guess you could say we've been through a lot together.

I think Healer x Sage is a pairing that basically doesn't exist but I think could have some interesting dynamic.

Sage coming across a stranger with no name, no past, no truth of his own but still trying to care for others when he can barely care for himself? How in the world is Sage meant to resist?

Right?? Healer would be juuuuust intriguing enough to capture his attention!!

And when he removes the blindfold for official ceremonies?? 🥵🤤 wooo! All bets are off!
