Y'ALL
RamBheem Sairat/Dhadak AU
Ram as Archana/Parthvi
Bheem as Prashant/Madhu
Because
1. College RamBheem >>>
2. I can totally imagine Bheem being an idiot in love and doing all of that shit for Ram in the Yad Lagla MV
3. Teenager!Ram would be a meanie to Bheem at first on purpose for sure. Also, can you imagine him saying "You don't understand Telugu? Should I tell you in English?". Iconic.

Happily ever after 💞
listening to the sairat music recorded by symphony orchestra and legends ajay-atul~ i am blessed
Have you seen Indian Matchmaking? It's all over twitter lately and I was curious what your thoughts were on it.
it's a trashfire that reinforces brahminical patriarchy and i have to deal with every day irl so I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole. that thing should be fucking cancelled because it's actively harming people, far more than any TV show cancelled for a single person's problematic tweets. don't watch it. not even for the memes, not even to hate-watch. don't let netflix make money off of a system that has literally ruined millions of lives.
instead,
read annihilation of caste by dr. ambedkar to familiarise yourself with caste and its structural violence and understand the role arranged marriage plays in reproducing it
(fair warning: there's some pro-eugenics bits, but this is basically a required reading if you want to understand indian caste).
watch this documentary on honour killing—an act where a couple or a member of a couple is murdered because they violate caste norms to preserve 'honour'—to understand the true violence behind 'indian matchmaking'.
watch sairat, a groundbreaking marathi film exploring inter-caste love and honour killing.
there's literally thousands of books, movies, articles out there that explore the damage caste does to Indian love. please don't support this awful tv show that just reinforces it. give your money and support to dalit creators, to queer indian creators, to stories about love transcending social boundaries not maintaining them.

I did not know Symphony Orchestra was involved in the instrumental track of this song....
