Yi Sang
Very insistent on you taking the bed for yourself
Less of an embarrassment thing for him, more of a "I could never let someone else suffer when I could bear the consequences myself" type thing
However, if you insisted or made it clear that you'd feel uncomfortable being the only one on the bed, then he'd be more than willing to join you
Not a massive cuddler, but would end up curling against you
Would probably find your presence rather comforting, and would end up sleeping well for once
He'll probably ask you to do this again LK;DJSLJATILAJTIJELIJTIOL;J
Faust
Starts spouting some nonsense about how she is a superior being and that she doesn't need sleep
In reality her abundance of mirror world selves has not prepared her for this
Will not join you, no matter how much you fuss
Would only be willing if she REALLY liked you or you were great at emotionally manipulating her
Even if she didn't join you at the start though, she'd probably find herself joining you in the bed some time late at night
I feel like she'd intertwine her fingers with yours before sleeping
Don Quixote
Does! Not! Care!!!!!
Probably really excited about having a sleepover with you
There will most likely be a pillow fight, even if it's just you two throwing one singular pillow at each other
However those shoes are not leaving her feet sooo… good luck
Moves a lot in her sleep, will most likely end up with her arm on your face and her leg over your body
She's oh so sweet though so you can't truly get mad
Ryoshu
Congratulations on getting the chance to sleep on the floor
Share the bed? I.Y.D.
Call me a hater, I just can't see anything else from what I've seen of her so far (Canto 5)
Maybe. MAYBE if she really liked you then she'd let you in the bed
But she would probably cuddle with her sword over you
Meursault
He is similar to Faust in the sense that he is also saying a bunch of nonsense, but his speech boils down to "both of you need good sleep so you should share the bed"
Will not converse with you in the slightest, will simply tell you to sleep
Falls asleep at 10 pm flat and then becomes a rock until 6 am
If he likes you though, you may sense the slightest shift of his body towards your direction
Subtle to the point that you'd think you're imagining things
Hong Lu
Another person that I think would be fine with it
However him and his rich boy tendencies will make him take up most of the bed
I feel like his actions would change drastically depending on how he felt about you
If he felt neutral or mainly platonic, then I feel like he'd just end up intertwining limbs with you as he hogged most of the bed
But if he liked you, he'd be a bit more sly, taking the opportunity to cuddle with you
His hair would be oh so soft… but you would most likely end up somehow wrapped up inside of it by the time morning comes
Also if you couldn't sleep then you two would do skincare together
Heathcliff
He's fairly chill about it
I don't see him flipping out about it, but he's not super excited either
But if he likes you? Oh, then that's a different story
Desperately trying to keep his cool and seem impressive while in reality he's just kind of flailing around
If any of his actions make you laugh, he won't know if to feel happy or offended
Will take him a while to fall asleep, but once he does he'll end up holding you in his arms
Ishmael
Now this is the one person that I think has a truly normal reaction
She really just is chill with it regardless
She usually leaves her hair out when she sleeps, but she'd be willing to braid it for your comfort
If you offer to do it for her, she'll act normal but feel really happy about it
Ends up slightly curling up against you, absorbing your warmth
Probably the best sleep she's had in a while
Rodya
She's pretty happy about this arrangement
She gets to spend time with you and get some extra warmth? Win win
Will no doubt pull out a deck of cards from who knows where and play a couple of rounds with you
She's willing to lose a few games, but she will make sure she's the winner overall
Will most likely end up bear hugging you to sleep
Sinclair
He is so freaking nervous he thinks he's going to combust into flames
Offers several times to sleep on the floor, half for your sake and half for his
He's so nervous that he can't even remember how he normally acts
If he likes you and Ryoshu knows about it, then he might recite some of her horrible advice in his head just to keep his cool
Will not sleep a single minute that night, but will be very very giddy in the morning
Outis
Not delighted by this circumstance, but she'll make it work
From what I've seen, Outis doesn't really like being vulnerable, and this situation is just about as vulnerable as it could get
Starts rattling on about how you two cannot cause any issues to the Executive Manager, and therefore you must both get adequate rest
In other words, she wants to share the bed
Falls asleep in 5 minutes flat, and probably ends up slightly curling up against you
Will fully deny all allegations in the morning though
Gregor
Not a fan of this arrangement in the slightest
It's not about you at all, rather it's about him and his arm
Will refuse to share the bed with you, saying that he'll sleep on the floor and that's final
Above anything he could want, he doesn't want to hurt you
Will talk with you about whatever you want until you fall asleep
He might watch you for a bit during the night, wondering about what could've been if he wasn't a monster

Yi Sang
"That's a rather peculiar question to ask," Yi Sang hums.
"Well, would you?" you pester, leaning in closer to watch his expression.
He stills for a bit in mock thoughtfullness, before turning towards you. "Well, you turning into a worm would be…. most unideal."
"Yi Sanggg~!" you whine.
He chuckles at your outburst, still refusing to end his fun. "Would your identity be one of a worm? In that instant, would you truly exist as yourself?"
You stomp your foot in exasperation. "I am the worm. It is not a worm that looks like me, I am not more worm than me. I am simply a worm, okay?" you pout.
He laughs again, this time a little bit louder before leaning in and giving you a kiss on your cheek. "Well then, of course I would love you."
"Well, you could've opened with that," you huff, but the corners of your mouth give you away.
"Indeed. But that would have not led to such an amusing exchange, no?" Yi Sang asks.
"I suppose not…" Despite getting the answer you wanted, you can't help but feel as if you lost somehow.
Noting your dissapointment, he quickly changes the focus of the conversation. "Perhaphs I would become a worm besides you, and we could venture through the soil together," Yi Sang muses.
"And we could go on adventures!" you exclaim, your mood bouncing back twicefold. "I wonder how far we could travel as worms? We wouldn't have to bring anything, so there'd be no luggage, but…"
As you continue to ramble, Yi Sang watches you fondly. He kisses you again, this time on the lips, and smiles. No matter how much he may tease or prod, in the end he would never wish for a universe without you.
Hong Lu
"Hmmm, what type of worm would you be?" Hong Lu questions
"Um… a cute one?" you answer weakly.
"Well, obviously~" he hums. "If you're a worm, then of course you'd be cute."
A blush spreads across your cheeks. Despite him being your boyfriend, you still can't get used to his spontaneuous compliments. "I– um, thanks?"
He giggles at your response, and gives you a soft kiss on your forehead. "Hmmm, if you were as cute as you are now… probably?"
The blush is instantly replaced with a pout as you turn your head to the floor. "It wouldn't kill you to be more confident in your response," you mutter in a sulky tone.
"Awww, is my baby pouting~?" he teases. "I'd love you, but probably not as much as right now. After all, I love you as you, not a worm."
"So what you're saying is that you need my appearance, huh?" you prod. In reality, you're already satisfied with his answer, but there's a tiny part of you that just wants to push further.
"Can the worm give me these sulky questions? Can the worm braid my hair out of boredom? Can the worm tell me stories about their childhood and get angry when I laugh?" he asks sincerely.
"I– I guess not," you answer.
"See? Even if it was you, it wouldn't be the person I fell in love with." He kisses you on the forehead again, before squishing your cheeks. "Now, have you had enough? Or would you like me to prove just how much I love you~?"
"I, um, maybe another time!" you squeak, leading to Hong Lu giggling again. He truly, truly adores you.
Heathcliff
"Gah? What's this nonsense you're blubbering about?" Heathcliff asks in confusion.
"I said, would you love me if I was a worm?" you repeat, looking at him pointedly.
"I heard the damn question. I just ain't got a clue what the point of this rubbish is," he grumbles.
You sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. While Heathcliff could be rather sharp, his brain seemed to turn into mush in momemnt like these.
"What are you getting frustrated for? …Ah fine, I'll give you your bloody answer. Happy now?" he concedes, holding his hands up in the air.
"Very," you hum in satisfaction.
Heathcliff ponders the question, making a couple of noises of bewilderment along the way. "Probably, as long as you didn't find me when I'm hungry."
"Excuse me?!" you exclaim.
He smirks a little at that, booping you on the nose. "Trust me love, you don't want to know what I've eaten down in the backstreets. A worm would be the least of my stomach's problems."
"So you're saying," you fume. "That you would eat a worm, knowing it was me, just because you were hungry?!"
Quickly realizing the error in his words, Heathcliff instantly denies it. "It's a joke, love, a joke! I'd love you, okay? Worm or not."
"If you ever turn into a worm, I'll burn you over the grill," you pout.
"Ah, look I'm sorry!" he exclaims. He turns you around to face him and gives you a kiss on the lips. "Does this make it up?"
"… Date on the next place we stop. Then I'll let you off the hook."
"What if we end up in a fight? You want me to court you among the corpses?" he questions.
"Heathcliff~!" you whine, crossing your arms.
He laughs at your reaction, ruffling your hairs. He loves you to the moon and back, even if he did consider eating you as a worm.
I've never seen the actual trend, but I've seen people write for it. Idk it's just fun and giggles :D @sh0jun & @im-no-mechanic-but
Running for the hills while SCREAMING: Kaito
Nopenopenopenopenopenopenopeeeeeeeeeeee he's GONE. Not a hair in sight. All the while screaming "I'm taken, so sorry, I have someone at home, byebyebyebyebye!" In fact, he's literally not coming back. You're going to have to text him or get someone to tell him that you're "you" again before he comes running back and gives you a hug. He's also going to tell you to NEVER do this again. Because if you do, he's running even farther.
Declining like a gentleman - until he isn't: Subaru, Tohma, Luca
He's not as dramatic as the rest. He's more like "Sorry, I'm taken. Hope you find someone though." However, if you try to test their reaction to continued attempts, say goodbye to your life. Subaru is snapping, demanding you let go of him this instant. Tohma is blackmailing you by pulling out dirt on you from the last ten years. And Luca just pulls out his sword as a self defense mechanism. Please don't do this. Value your life. Be happy and move on. PLEASE.
"Exe has stopped working. Please reboot": Alan, Lyca
He's. He's trying. He's doing his best to get out of there, but he really doesn't know how to. Does he run? Does he just say no? Does he knock the person out? Truly a mystery. He will weasel his way out one way or another. But it might take a while. Don't get mad at him please he's trying his best <3
Sues you: Ritsu, Romeo, Leo
Ritsu is the only one with actual legal grounds to do this. The rest are just being dramatic. Ritsu is going to cite some absurd law that nobody knows of and might not even be real but honestly who cares? The way he's looking at you makes you think you're getting a life sentence. Meanwhile, Leo and Romeo are just being sassy. Like "Omg how DARE you approach me? Do you know who I am?" Will proceed to go on a thirty minute rant about their own amazingness. You honestly regret dating them after the whole lecture.
Yeeting something at you: Ren, Yuri, Sho
He's not emotionally tilted enough to just stand there, but he has no coherent response. So instead, he's defaulted to armed warfare. Pillows, tv remotes, gaming consoles, animals, quite literally anything. It's not meant to be violent, he's just trying to get rid of the threat. Ren is screaming the whole time, Yuri has an IV drip in his hand as a weapon, and Sho throws the nearest item (pray for yourself that it isn't a knife) before backing away and telling you "I have a girlfriend, bye".
Leaves: Jin, Jiro
No words, no defenses, nothing. He's gone. He's left. He's in another dimension now. You're not seeing him. It's not even dramatic either. Jin uses his portal, and Jiro just walks out. It happens in 2 seconds and you're left absolutely dumbstruck before you realize you now have to get them back. Jin is going to make you beg before he returns (just let him leave, he'll crawl back eventually) and Jiro is going to take a 3 minute sprint to catch up to.
Gets a little too into the roleplay: Haru, Zenji, Rui, Ed
Cue the dramatic lights. The wind. The curious onlookers that don't really exist. The instant you start he dramatically declares, "I'm a taken man." If you try to press for more of a reaction, he'll respond, "My heart belongs to another. I cannot love you so. Goodbye." Haru and Zenji find it way too hard to stay in character after that, and will giggle along with you. But the others? Good luck cus they are NOT getting out of character.
Actually just kills you: Towa, Taiga
No warning. No escape. You were a good one, we'll miss you o7 (wait I'd be one of the victims nooo). Towa has a full on lightning storm. His cute smile? Gone. His pretty flowers? Sharpened by the wind into spears and now pointed at your throat, ready to launch anytime. Shout as loud as you can over the wind to tell him that it's you again. That should return him back to normal. Or you'll just die. Meanwhile, Taiga's got his gun locked and loaded. Run. Literally just run and hide and hope he'll forget so that you can come back out. Honestly why'd you even try? Like do you not enjoy living????
Doesn't even blink: Haku (KLEJTL;IA;LITILJLEKJL;JRA;LJL;)
He sees straight through your acting and just. Stares at you. Doesn't blink, doesn't react, nothing. You try to kiss his cheek, and still. Nothing at all. Slowly, you take a step back. And another. Meanwhile, he just follows you, that same blank look on his face. Suddenly, your back is against the wall. He pins you there, leans down, his mouth exhaling slightly next to your ear, before whispering, "Did you enjoy playing pretend?" You're left absolutely dumbstruck with literally no reaction. Meanwhile, his lips form a sly smirk, assuring you, "If anyone else tried that, I wouldn't let that happen. They'd have been blocked far before that point." Then just walks away humming, leaving you absolutely flabbergasted.
not sure if anyone did this yet, but how would the ghouls react if we chose them to dance with us? during a ballroom thing involving all houses or whatever :P
Okay so admittedly when I wrote this I kinda didn't read the prompt right T^T So it's a bit off but I'd say it's still rlly cute so I hope you like it :D Also again, so sorry for how late this is. @sh0jun & @im-no-mechanic-but

Moonlight Waltz
Jin
Frostheim balls always made your nerves jumpy, the snickers from the general students seemingly stabbing your skin, even if they weren’t aimed at you at all. Even though Kaito and Luca always stuck near you and did their best to comfort you, the anxiety still made everything feel like far too much. But you didn’t flee. It wasn’t a matter of whether you could or couldn’t, but if you wanted to or not. And while you would frankly rather be anywhere else, there was one thing that you wanted from this dance, and you would tolerate all of the insults hurled your way just for a chance.
Suddenly, the doors at the top of the stairs were slammed open, and Jin walked out the doors with an irritated huff. But no matter what emotion mired his features, his beauty still shined through in a way that was dazzling. He wasn’t wearing his Frostheim uniform today; Instead, he was dressed to the nines, a proper black suit with a gorgeuous blue brooch pinned neatly onto the blazer. You look away, suddenly all too aware of how stunning Jin is and you consider running away in fear. But before you can make your escape plan, a hand roughly lands on your shoulder, making you jump and turn around. You’re ready to shout at the person, but all of your words die in your throat when you see Jin. He’s even more beautiful up close, and every instinct in your body is telling you to run. But you don’t.
You steel your nerves and say, “Hi Jin”. He doesn’t say anything, clearly waiting for something specific.
You take a deep breath, clear your throat, and ask, “Would you dance with me?”
A satisfied smirk spreads across his face, as he leans in whispers “I thought you’d never ask.”
His cold breath caresses your ear, and suddenly all of your thoughts fly out of your head. He takes your hand and leads you to the center of the dance floor, sweeping you into an elegant waltz. Even though his fingers were cold, his touch seemed to burn, and you couldn’t tell if you wanted to flee or stay in that moment forever.
Haku
It's a cold night at Hotarubi, the rain pouring just as it always does. You decided to spend the night over at the dorm after you spent too long talking with everyone at tea time. You pull the futon out of the closet, spreading it out properly on the tatami mats. Just as you finish and you're about to change into your pajamas, you hear a knock on the door.
"Hey princess? It's me."
You open your door to see Haku standing there awkwardly, his uniform damp and his white collar shirt slightly transparent.
"Do you… mind if I stay in your room for a bit? My roof has a hole in it and the water won't stop dripping onto my futon."
"Oh um. Of-of course! Come in."
Don't think about that, don't think about that, don't think about that.
The two of you spend a couple of minutes in awkward silence, neither of you sure what to do. The rain pours down every the same, the sound of the drizzle soothing your nerves. Occasionally, a bit of lightning strikes, but nothing too loud. In this moment the world feels so cozy and comforting, you almost wish that you could always stay at Hotarubi. As the two of you sit, you both split off into seperate activites. You decide to read a book that Subaru lended you, while Haku plays his flute. The melody that flows out is almost divine, a pure and soulful song that almost brings tears to your eyes.
"Hey Haku? By any chance, would you like to dance with me?"
The question makes Haku stop and turn towards you with an incredulous look.
"Dance? With me? What's this about princess?"
"Nothing. I just… really liked the song you just played on the flute."
His face instantly goes soft, a warm smile blooming across his face.
"Why of course, my lady. This dance is yours."
The two of you start of with a waltz, just like your dances at Frostheim. But as the dance goes on, it slowly devolves. Haku spins you five times in a row, you try a fancy move and end up falling down, and both of you are laughing far too much for any of this to be formal. Every time Haku tries to regain his composure, something else happens and his face breaks out into a massive grin all over again. There's no ball or fancy chandellier. Instead, there's a worn down dorm room and a flickering lightbulb overhead. Instead of music, there is Haku's joyful laughter and the ambient sounds of wind. It's nothing short of silly, but for you, it's the most magical night you've ever had.
Towa
After helping Haru with the animals, you decide to stay at Jabberwock overnight instead of making the arduous trek back home. Luckily for you, the dorm has plenty of extra rooms after all of the general students were removed. Unfortunately for you, you have a very clingy Towa that has no plans of letting you sleep.
"Dandelionnn~ Come on, let's go see the stars!"
You'd already changed into your pajamas when Towa barged in your room uninvited.
"Now? I'm not in the best clothe- Woah!"
Clearly Towa didn't go there asking for an answer, because he was already pulling you out the door before you could tell him otherwise. He ran across the grassy fields at terrifyingly fast speeds, while you did your best to keep up.
"To-Towa! Slow down!"
He finally turned around to look at you, realizing you were lagging behind.
"My Dandelion in so cute~ Don't worry, I'll carry you!"
He quickly scoops you into his arms before jumping into the air, flying around 20 feet above the ground. He travels across the night sky, spinning around and laughing as he takes you to the top of the hill. When the two of you arrive, he plops down on the grass and pats the ground, inviting you to do the same.
"I love watching the stars. Hey Dandelion, do you know the story of that constellation. A long time ago-"
Towa explains the stories of countless different constellations, although there's a clear focus on love throughout all of them. Meanwhile, you simply listen with a keen ear, a small smile on your face from how animated he is. As he tells you the story of the fifth constellation, you can feel yourself driting asleep.
Must… stay… awake…
Determined to hear the end of the story, you hum a quiet tune under your breath to keep yourself awake.
"Hey Dandelion, what song is that? It sounds so pretty~"
Before you realize it, Towa is holding your hand with an excited look in his eyes. You can almost see him jumping with anticipation, and you can't help but laugh to yourself.
"Towa, do you want to dance? I can hum the song while we do so."
The instant he hears your suggestion, he jumps up to his feet, beaming with joy. The two of you hold hands and spin around on the grass, your cheerful melody echoing through the plains. You soon start mirroring each other's movements. When you jump, he jumps. When he twirls, you twirls. It's clumsy at best, the two of you tripping over both your own and each other's feet more times than you can count. But at the same time, it's the most fun you've had since you entered Darkwick. As you watch Towa's gleeful smile illuminated by the moon and the stars, the world suddenly doesn't seem so dull anymore.
Another silly thing I wrote :D @sh0jun& @im-no-mechanic-but
Successfully defends you: Ritsu
Yeah… you're kinda screwed if you don't get him. But assuming you win the lottery, you're good to go! Doesn't matter if you're guilty or innocent, he's getting you out of there with a "not guilty" verdict. He's going to record you a lot though so beware of that.
The sweethearts are doing their best, but I'm afraid it's not enough. Kaito's a stuttering mess, Alan doesn't know how to explain himself, Ren has zero interest in what the opponent is saying, Zenji has started speaking in prose, Yuri doesn't have time in his busy schedule to study laws, Lyca has no clue what's happening, and Rui is too scared to go into the court room due to his curse. The effort is there, but the results aren't. They tried their best though!
Saves you with blackmail: Tohma, Leo, Romeo
They might not know the law by heart, but who cares? A couple of hints dropped here and there about how much each of them knows about the prosecutor is enough for them to give up the case. It's probably better that you don't ask where they got that information though.
Bribes the judge and moves on: Jin, Haku, Subaru
They're handing the judge a hefty sum under the table and getting you out of there in the first five minutes. After all, each of them are rich in their own right. Jin is… Jin, Haku's the heir to his temple, and Subaru used to be a famous actor. They can easily pay the judge and get you home, morals be damned. Also, none of them would be able to defend you properly so this is most likely the best solution.
Will only defend you if you're morally correct: Luca, Jiro
They want to help you, they really do, but if you're wrong? They're leaving. Luca refuses to give up his morals no matter what, and Jiro will just say "accept your punishment" and move on. To be fair, it depends on what you did. If it's something minor, they'll help. But if it's something serious, find another lawyer I suppose.
Magically gets you out: Haru, Sho, Ed
Yes, they defend you properly. No, you don't know how they did it. They'll tell you if you ask them afterwords though. Haru brushed up on the laws so Jabberwock would never be sued, Sho studied it for fun for a couple weeks before getting bored, and Ed "was there when the law was invented". So… mission succesful, I guess?
Makes it worse: Towa, Taiga
These two… sigh. It's always them, isn't it. Worst part is, they're in sync for their solution to your problem. Get rid of every witness and defendant, then case closed! If you say yes, you're getting a life sentence for murder because the evidence is unfortunately not covered up well enough. And if you say no, then they're going behind your back and doing it anyways, landing you with a life sentence once again. Just plead guilty honestly. Far better than these two as your lawyers.
Yi Sang loved to nuzzle his face in the crook of your neck. You'd always end up giggling as the flowers on his face softly brushed over your skin, each petal seemingly caressing you.
Occasionally, a new branch would start growing somewhere on his face and would poke you. But Yi Sang never let them grow longer than a centimeter, instead snapping them the instant he sensed your discomfort. You could chide him all you want about taking care of himself, but he refused to let any part of him hurt you.
"Yi Sang?" you murmur listlessly. It is another warm day, but your body feels cool as his ice cold face rests on your shoulder.
"Yes, my love?" he asks, lifting his head so that he can face you properly.
You take a breath, gently tugging on his sleeve as you ask, "Why do you always nuzzle into the crook of my neck?"
"Ah, have my actions perhaps been making you uncomfortable? My apologies, I-"
"No no no!" you cut him off. "It's just… whenever you lift your head you look wistful, sad almost."
A sense of realization settles on his face, his eye turning away to look at a rather uninteresting corner. He dons that look again, the one where he looks like his next actions could crumble the floor underneath his feet.
"May I rest my head on your shoulder as I talk? It's… not a conversation I would be keen to make with eye contact."
'Because I'm scared of how you'll react' are the unsaid words that linger between you two. But you agree regardless, softly patting your shoulder to beckon him. His hair tickles your cheek, and you can't help but brush your hand through it.
"It's simply because of your scent," he finally whispers after a minute of silence. "Whenever I catch a hint of it, it always reminds me of the days where my eyes still glimmered with hope."
"You've mentioned my scent before," you reply quietly.
He nods his head slightly. "Indeed. You carry the strong scent of camellias in spring."
"Camellias…?" you ask. As far as you knew, none of the soaps or shampoos you used smelled of camellias.
"Mhm," he affirms. "They remind me of my old dreams, my old colleagues. They may have left on their own paths in the ripples of time, but those memories are still ones that I hold fondly."
There was a part of you that stung, knowing that one of the reasons he kept you close was his overwhelming sense of nostalgia. But when had anything between the two of you ever been normal? You shared the same path not out of a sense of duty or admiration, but rather a twisted desire to see the sparks of the world shine again for the first time. In the end, your relationship was built on that nostalgia, so who were you to curse it?
Slowly, you pull your hand away from his hair. "I see. Would you like me to procure something camellia scented for this room? It might take a bite out of the budget, but I'm sure it'd be fine."
He scowls at your statement. Not a small downturn of his lips, not a huff of annoyance, but a proper scowl. "Tell me, for what purpose would that object serve, when I have you by my side? Would that candle have some sort of magic imbued in it that allowed me to rest on its shoulder? Would it converse with me when my heart was clambering with fear? May that mystical candle of yours keep me company in these tiring days?"
You sit there, stunned. In your entire time by his side, you had never seen Yi Sang get angry once. In fact, you'd essentially come to believe that it was an emotion that he didn't have.
"N-no, I just thought if you wanted to be reminded of the past, then perhaps I could find a way for it to not require keeping someone in your presence," you stutter.
"Do you tire of me?" he questions.
"No!" you exclaim. "If you'd have me, then I would be more than willing to stay. It's just that I didn't want you to have to keep me by your side if you felt like there was no other purpose."
He lifts his hand to your head, but instead of ruffling your hair as he usually would, he flicks your forehead with a resounding thwack!
"Hey!" you shout, lifting your hand to shield yourself from further attacks.
"I know that this may be a rather hypocritical statement coming from me, but it would please me greatly if you valued yourself more," Yi Sang worries softly, properly running his hand through your hair this time. "You are far more than simple nostalgia to me, and I wish that you could see it. I… know that perhaps it doesn't seem that way, that my actions are simply seated in selfishness. But along with it, there is care. So please, view yourself in a kinder light."
"I-okay," you stammer, still shocked by the sight that you'd witnessed mere seconds ago.
"Promise me," he requests.
"I promise to value myself more in the future. Happy?" you smile.
"May I… request one more vow?" he sheepishly asks.
You nod, knowing all too well that there are very few requests of him that you would ever deny, if any at all.
"Promise to stay with me until I draw my last breath."
You stare at him for a second, before smiling warmly. "Haven't I already promised that before?"
"Is it such a sin to desire to hear it a second time?" he asks, his lips forming a small pout.
You giggle again, this time carefully intertwining your fingers with his. "Of course not. I promise to stay with you until your last breath, and ever beyond."
More fun stuff :D This time less random tho @sh0jun& @im-no-mechanic-but
Flowers: Luca, Alan, Towa, Subaru, Rui
The classic romantics. Might not be the most unique idea, but it hardly takes away from their impact. For Luca, flowers are something he's always seen gifted in books as a sign of love, and are his way of telling you how much he adores you. Alan gave you flowers at first because he wasn't sure what else he could, but now it's something he genuinely enjoys picking out. Towa gives you flowers every day. Maybe even every minute. Each flower shows how much he loves you, and he has no plans on stopping. Subaru is another person who derived his love of gifting flowers from stories, believing them to be the perfect way of displaying his affections. Rui gives flowers he grows in his garden. They're something that he managed to breathe life into, and since your what his life circles around, it only seems right to gift them to you.
Jewelry: Jin, Ren, Taiga
I feel like a lot of you are staring at the odd one out, but hear me out. Jewelry is something that you can gift to someone and see it, a constant reminder of the fact that the person you love does in fact love you back. For Jin, he gives you necklaces, rings, bracelets, anything that can show both the world and himself that you're his. Ren gifts you one singular necklace and a couple of bracelets, a simple reminder that you're not going to get bored of him in the next minute. Taiga gifts you a choker (because of course he does) and matching rings so that he never forgets who you are.
Outfits: Leo, Haru, Romeo
They're way of showing love is making you look beautiful no matter where you are. Leo's someone who values trends, and makes sure the outfits he gifts you match them. However, if something is not to your tastes, he won't make you wear it. Romeo dresses you up every day, constantly giving the excuse that he can't have you looking bad next to him. In reality, it's something that he's made part of his routine and simply enjoys doing. Haru enjoys gifting outfits because you can use them often, and they aren't as expensive as jewelry. Ever since he gifted you that Jabberwock uniform, he always finds himself looking for clothes for you when he should be shopping for Peekaboo's food.
Practical items: Tohma, Ristu, Jiro
They don't find much value in gifts that can't be used, and as such tend to only gift stuff that would actually be useful. Tohma gifts you all kinds of pens: fountain pens, ballpoint pens, gel pens, ecetera. He'll also gift you other stuff, make no mistake. But for him, pens are something that he can always see you using, which is why he gifts them. If you have glasses, he might also get you fancy frames. For Ristu, he gifts you stationary. Post-it notes, notebooks, pencils, erasers, each item naturally stylish and practical as Ritsu tends to use. However, he'll drop in a cute Shiba Inu post it note set here and there. Jiro truly does not see the point of stuff that isn't useful, so he'll only gift you stuff like food or drinks. They're not something that he consumes normally, but it's important for you to get your proper nutrients and hydration.
Little trinkets: Kaito, Sho, Haku, Zenji, Yuri, Ed
They tend to give gifts that have some sort of personal meaning, a way of gifting you a part of their life. Kaito gives you baked goods, regardless of how helpful you were during the process of making them. Occasionally, he bakes behind your back specifically so that he can surprise you. Sho gifts you random things he made while learning something new. Paper cranes, homemade jewelry, a whole song that he composed himself, all on some random Tuesday. Haku tends to gift you something whenever he thinks of you. A new tea blend, a special flute performance by yours truly, some sake that he got imported yesterday. When he truly falls in love with you, he'll gift you a matching pair of earrings, so that the two of you always look like a couple. Zenji gifts you whatever writing or music he makes. Whether you help or just sit in the corner, every single on of his pieces is dedicated to you. Yuri gifts you little souvenirs. He doesn't have time to go out often, but when he does, he gets a little souvenir from whatever place he visited for his medical procedure and gifts it to you. Ed randomly gifts you stuff from his collection. One day a pocket watch, the next a priceless coin from an extinct currency. Make no mistake, he knows the value of each item. He'll pretend like he doesn't though, acting as if he didn't just pay off every bill you'll ever have for life with a single present.
a/n: making a mini series based on spicebush voicelines cus kljsa;litialsjtlj i love him so much
Yi Sang in the kitchen was absolutely disastrous. You'd learned that lesson the hard way, when you'd woken up to the clattering of pans echoing through the hallway. Groggily, you'd pulled yourself to the kitchen to see what was happening, and you saw him examining a potato with sprouts growing out of it. When you asked him what he was doing, he told you that he was wondering if he could it eat. You had managed to confiscate it before he could give himself food poisoning, but the memory remains fresh in your mind all the same.
Sighing, you open the door to Yi Sang's room and sit down beside him. It's only 12:30 pm, but you're already exhausted. From filling out documents, to helping organizing the next Enkaphilin factory raid, you haven't had time to take a proper rest since morning.
"I wonder," Yi Sang muses. He seems to be in better spirits today, as the tiniest of smiles tugs on the corners of his lips. "Have you dined yet?"
"Ah… I unfortunately have not," you lament. One of the few things you liked about the alliance was it's food. For being so full of hatred, the chefs made some amazing dishes.
"Let's see… how about potatoes? They are quite fitting for a luncheon," he asks. He glances at you to ask for permission, but you'd be blind to miss the little twinkles of excitement in his eye.
"Do you not remember what happened last time when you tried to make potatoes?" The question is more of a formality than anything. There's no doubt that he remembers, because it's what you use as your refusal every time he tries to sneak into the kitchen to cook again.
While you continued to fret about the various dangers about letting him into the kitchen, Yi Sang stared at you with silent adoration. You looked like an angry baby chick, squawking as loudly as you can without being even the slightest bit intimidating. He had always liked that about you, the way that you weren't scared of him.
Unable to keep his composure any longer, Yi Sang lets out a small chuckle. The corners of his eye crinkles, and his lips curve into a proper grin. "Worry not, for they have not sprouted."
The world seems to halt on its axis when he laughs. The breeze stops to listen, the sun shines brighter only if to illuminate his smile for a second longer. He… he laughed. In your entire time at the alliance, he'd never come close to laughing. Perhaps the slightest smile here and there, but most of the time he wore the same, apathetic expression.
But now, he's beaming with joy. Your heart seems to beat faster and faster, warmth spreading through your cheeks as you stare at him.
"…Hello? Are you alright? If you are unwell, I shall request the phsycia–"
"No! No, I'm fine," you reassure, pulling yourself together. You nod at him to insist that you're okay, and instantly all of the tension leaves his body.
"As long as you feel well, then it is no issue to me. Now, would you be willing to join me for the meal?" You see that same spark of hope in his eye again, and your heart begins to stutter again.
"Alright, alright. You win this round," you grumble, but you can feel the smile blooming on your face.
"I am pleased to hear so. Now, I will–"
"On one condition. I will be the cook," you tell him with a pointed stare.
The flowers on his skin droop as his lips form a pout, and your defense almost cracks.
"…Alright then. I shall grant you this victory," he sighs, but he too has a small smile dancing on his lips.
As the two of you walk to the kitchen, you talk about various things, none of much significance. The both of you avoid the topic of work, lest your lunch is cancelled in favor of a pile of documents.
When you enter the kitchen, you can smell the faint aroma of the food that was cooked there before the two of you came inside. While you decide to appreciate the aroma, Yi Sang goes to the back of the room and begins searching through a sack. After a couple of seconds, he raises his hand in victory.
"It is as I said. They have not yet began to sprout." It was, objectively, the bare minimum, but the pride on his face made you want to praise him to the moon and back.
"Well done. Now, wait for me to finish cooking it." You roll back your sleeves and begin to prepare. Meanwhile, Yi Sang stares at the knives with a look of envy.
"…If you wish, I'll allow you to cut the potatoes," you concede.
Instantly, he springs up in excitement and gets to work. For his credit, he doesn't cut his fingers, although he does come close.
After about 30 minutes, the food is ready and both of you are positively starving.
"Mhm! This actually tastes good!" you exclaim.
"While I am not necessarily joyful over your lack of faith in me, I do agree that it tastes excellent," he comments.
"You know, we should do this again." The room goes silent, and you instantly regret your question.
"… You would like to join me for another meal?" He stares at the wall, as if the moment he looks you in the eyes you'll turn him down.
"Well, I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't want to, no?" You stab a piece of potato with your fork and hold it out in front of him. "These taste good, right? Next time, I'll make even more."
He turns towards you, seemingly wondering if something will suddenly go wrong. When it doesn't, he looks at you with a sigh of relief. "I would rather like that. However…" Suddenly, he leans forward and bites the piece of potato off of the fork. "Next time, I shall be the one at the stove-top."
As you sit there flustered, a smirk spreads across Yi Sang's lips. "Thank you for the meal, Dear."
He pats you on the head and exits the room, clearly pleased with himself. The final brain cells in your head shut down in defeat, your hands lifting up to comb through the strands he touched.
"Next time…" you mumble. There's no doubt that the food will be burnt at best, inedible at worst. And yet, you can't help but feel excited for it.
Pulling yourself together, you walk out of the room, and you find Yi Sang waiting there for you.
"Didn't you go back to the room?" you inquire.
"That was the plan, indeed, but I felt that it would be rather rude to leave you in there alone," he confesses.
You stare at him for a little bit, before bursting out into laughter. "That whole cool exit… for it to end in this?"
"Well, I suppose I am glad that I have bought you some amusement," he sulks. "Now come on, let us leave."
He begins speed walking back to the room, and as you jog to catch up, you can't help but notice the beautiful shade of red dyeing his ears.
