my lease is up in december and i desperately want to move rather than re-sign my lease. i’m a mentally ill, physically disabled, bi, trans person with very limited options on where i can live. i have a few options lined up to move in with friends/roommates, but none of them are concrete, and i need a backup plan in case they fall through. 

where i currently live is dirty, moldy in many many areas (including the bathroom, basement, and entryway), and recently had a bug infestation in my room. beetles and stinkbugs had burrowed into my air conditioning unit because my landlord refused to take it out and refused to seal it properly, he’s also now refusing to do anything about the bugs that are still in my room, so i’m staying on my mom’s couch until my lease ends in two months. 

i’m trying to save up $1,200 for first/last month’s rent at a new place, though hopefully i’ll be able to find a roommate to cover half of it, in which case i’ll only need $600.

the problem is i only make $750 a month, $550 of which currently goes to rent at a house i can’t stay in, which i will need to pay at least twice more before i’m able to move. after rent i pay $120 a month for bills, phone internet etc. that leaves me $80 a month to live off of, most of which goes to gas and food, leaving me around $20 to save each month. 

so i’m asking for donations, and/or sales to help me move. i don’t expect to save up the full $1,200 before december, but i’m hoping to get the $600 and find a roommate to move in with and cover the other half. my mom is going to try and get a loan in her name as i don’t have the credit necessary to get one myself, so the more i save up, the less i’ll have to pay back later.

This is a sad week for us Robin fans, as Super Sons is being canceled.

They say it’s not due to bad sales and that there are future plans, however, I want to take this opportunity and ask you to buy a Super Sons book. Either a single issue or a tpb. If you are able to allow yourself a trip to a comic book shop- do that, these are the easiest numbers to track. If not- online is fine as well!

Let’s show DC how much we love this book and these two characters, and make sure they know we still want to see them together in the future!
