Sally Klein singing “Not a Day Goes By” from a rehearsal for Merrily We Roll Along. Ms. Klein played Beth, with this song as her intended solo number. Amidst many changes, this song was reassigned to the character Frank during previews. This was probably due to Ms. Klein’s less than stellar voice. Even so, I quite enjoy her performance dramatically despite the vocal flaws.
