13. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? I fucking LOVE the End of Time specials. They are ludicrous and slipshod and cheesy and self-indulgent and make no sense and it's become incredibly fashionable to bash them, but they are also super homoerotic and sentimental and involve some of the best overt Thoschei romantic chemistry, between Simm and Tennant, and I don't care if they're campy and shitty, they make me incredibly emotional and happy. :DDDD

Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen… Instead of the entire Vault Arc of Series Ten, I would have had the Doctor realizing that his good intentions were toxic and releasing Missy, allowing her to choose how to lead her life without the ultimatum of "be my friend who ascribes to my exact paradigms of morality or get lost." Missy would, with a few (big) mistakes, develop her own code of ethics. They would run into Simm, and after his initial resistance, as the "version" of the Master who represents the fiercest sort of autonomy, he would in fact join Missy and the Doctor in saving the Mondasian ship colony. Then either he and Missy would fuck off as besties, or they would live with Twelve in some kind of polyamorous scenario.  Bill would also not be yet another person of color sacrificed by the Master, and would have a much more satisfying ending than being "saved" by her waterlogged stalker and rendered one of those memes of the yikes "diversity win: your undead couple are lesbians who met once months ago under dubcon circumstances!"
