Mini SamThor moments in Spider-Man: Holiday Spectacular!

ohhh i love the concept of sam accidentally picking up mjolnir!! my hc was that they had a party at the avengers tower, and thor superglued a fake hammer to the floor or smthn to trick people into picking it up..and the next day, while cleaning up the mess, sam picks up the hammer exasperatedly, thinking it's the fake, and thor comes in looking for mjolnir and sees sam and just..stops (bonus: hearteyes, for some thundershield fodder)

Oh hell yes, that would be so cute 😍 honestly I'm so here for all variations that get Thor's hammer into Sam's hand (double entendre very much intended).

Because we all know Sam is worthy nut also - lbr, he deserves a treat, too. 😏

I was just thinking (again) about Sam's multilingual capabilities and how he used it to communicate with his team, THE Avengers. Anyways, then I remembered that Thor knows Allspeak.

They absolutely gossip about everyone else during their dates. And also, let's pretend Sam has his avian telepathy here and Thor's Allspeak extends to animals. Imagine Sam's delight when Thor tells him, he can talk to birds too. They'd have the most magical dates ever. Like having the birds help them set up their dates 🥰

Sneaking in another silly hc:

The suitors waiting in line to woo Sam Wilson shared the same groan of frustration when they found out that Thor can talk to birds. Like they have to compete with a literal God. Of Thunder. A prince. And he can fly, with Sam. Now they found out he also has the advantage of being able to talk to Sam's most favourite thing in the world: birds. Why are they even trying to compete anymore? They should just give up 😆

"I'm not picking that up," said Sam, laughing as he took another swig of Asgardian mead.

Which might not have been the best idea, since just a few sips had made Sam's world a little wobbly.

How had Sam gotten here? Sitting outside on a bench in Tønsberg, celebrating with the townspeople, with Brunnhilde, with Thor.

Nephews.

It was a discussion about Sam's nephews. Sam hadn't remembered what had brought him and Thor to the subject while Sam was visiting Tønsberg, but Sam had gushed about helping out with his nephews and Thor had talked about how he had just become a single parent and the two of them talked about the kids in their lives for so long that Sam hadn't even realized when day became night.

And now Thor was so close to Sam as he flailed his arm at his hammer.

"Why not? All who are worthy may wield it," said Thor, grinning as they sat together in front of Mjølnir.

It was power. It was a force of nature. A sentient object that Sam could feel intensity coming off it in waves. It was awe in the most devastating way.

But all Sam could think about was how his and Thor's thighs were touching. How Thor was draping his arm around Sam's shoulders. How Sam could taste the Asgardian mead on Thor's breath, wondered if Thor could smell it on Sam.

"What constitutes worthiness? Your idea of the term? Your father's? Is worthiness inherently tied to goodness? How does an object justify its subjectivity?" blurted Sam, unable to hide his thoughts from Thor with so much Asgardian mead in him.

Thor gazed deeply into Sam's eyes, something captivating pulling Sam closer.

"Then humor me more than the hammer," murmured Thor as he grabbed Mjønir carefully.

Sam wasn't sure if he wanted to know. But the way Thor looked at him, the way the hammer sang - it felt like Sam needed to know.

"I blame you if this hammer rips my arm off," grumbled Sam as Thor placed Mjølnir gently in Sam's hand and...

It hit Sam like lightning. Power surged through his body as thunder boomed, a bright light blinding Sam for a moment. Sam blinked, his eyes focusing as he saw that he was wearing... Asgardian armor. As he held Mjølnir.

Sam gaped.

"See," Thor murmured before surprising Sam with a kiss, warm and welcomed and making Sam melt, "I knew you were worthy."

Sam wanted to debate more about worthiness. But all he could think about was that kiss. Sam dropped the hammer. All the armor disappeared with it as he lunged at Thor, pulling the man in for another much longer kiss.
