my absolute favorite flavor of zosan is the one where zoro is perhaps a bit more comfortable with the idea of bein homosexual and he really doesnt see it as a big deal… like ‘i thought everyone was kinda gay’ mentality while meanwhile sanji, raised by straight dad zeff, is distraught at the idea he could possibly find stinky men like zoro attractive

hot take but i can’t see him being a dad. (yes i am projecting)

in MY opinion, i think after the strawhats ‘retire’ he would spend his time surrounding himself with things he couldn’t when he was still an active pirate. women.

i can imagine this man whoreing through his 30’s and 40’s so i js don’t think he would want to settle down imediently ykkkk. i do think he would eventually want to have a wife but due to his nature, it will take years before he’s fully ready to trust someone enough to marry them and by then, havibg kids would be out of the question for him

now i’m not saying he would be a bad dad or he doesn’t want to be a dad at all, bc we've all seen how calm and gentle he can be with kids e.g chimney and i can’t rlly think of any other examples oops! and he also does have that fatherly side to him, always sacrificing himself, always putting others first and never wanting people to be left without food so i can imagine a world where he craves the affection of a child, (and maybe bc of his trauma from germa he’s scared he will turn out like Judge ☹️☹️☹️☹️)

omg the thought of sanji and his future wife (me) js sitting down together and holding eachother, talking about how they wish they had met sooner so that they couldve had a child when they were younger, and even picking out names for themm 🥹🥹🥹.

anyways this was kinda inspired by this fanart of sanji where he was older and still doing his heart eyes which i think is so cute bc no one draws him with his heart eyes when he’s old, and i can imagine that is woild be a little gag of his he only reserves for his wife (me) for example when it’s been a long week and he comes home to her alr cooking sonething for herself and he shows his heart eyes only to cheer her up and attack her with kisses while he insists he takes over the cooking (AHHHHH IM BLUSHING JS THINKING AB IT).

ngl these past couple days i've been thinking heavy on sanji + his rescue hybrid doggirl... originally he was looking for a guard dog; the restaurant down the street was recently broken into, and as much as he doesn't like to think about it zeff is getting older, and sanji can't stomach the thought of something happening when he's not there at the baratie with him. but then he goes to the shelter and sees you, this sweet little thing who's cowering in the corner with big hopeful eyes, and reasons that it's practicality that leads him to taking you home--a more imposing doggirl might scare the customers, after all. he definitely didn't feel anything in his chest at all when you shyly nosed at his hand or when you so eagerly leaned into his touch as he stroked your ears...

the guilt sanji must’ve been feeling while listening to don krieg tell zeff that zeff didn’t choose to become a cook it was just the only option he had left after losing something precious

“it really is a pity how you no longer have that precious leg of yours… how unlucky of you to have such an accident at sea. now that your greatest weapon has been sacrificed you’re defenseless.”

and then later all the cooks blaming sanji, saying it’s all his fault and he’s gonna put zeff’s restaurant out of business and then zeff is like YOU FOOLS DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT in his first real burst of anger 😭
