I don’t think Jaime is going South to save Cercei.

Jaime and Brienne have this emotional scene where they all but declare their love for each other, Jaime continues to block Tormund from getting anywhere near Brienne, and Jaime is clearly staying in the North for her.

Jaime hears about what is about to go down, and how hundred of thousands of innocent people are going to die, something that he has killed a king for before.

I don’t think he is going South to save Cercei. I think he’s going South to finally end it all.

This might be D*ny, this might be Cercei. But I think Jaime is going South go kill a Queen.
