Santa Hats | Nailing It

10 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!! Can you tell that I’m excited? Just in time for you to show off in the last week of school or to wear to your holiday functions, here is a fun Santa hat design! These nails are super easy to get right as you can use tape to make sure you get clean, straight lines. What are you asking Santa for this year?

Materials:

1) Base Coat

2) Top Coat

3) Red Nail Polish

4) White Paint

5) Medium Dotting Tool

6) Tape

7) Optional: Clear Sparkle Nail Polish

Procedure:

1) Prepare your nails with a layer of base coat.

2) Optional: Paint your nails with a coat of clear sparkle polish.

3) Once your nails are completely dry, use tape to block off parts of your nail, leaving only a triangle-shaped section in the middle of your nail uncovered.

4) Paint your nails with red nail polish.

5) Quickly remove the tape to reveal crisp lines.

6) Dip your dotting tool into the white paint.

7) Create a thick line of white dots along the bottom edge of your nail.

8) Re-dip your dotting tool and create a small bundle of dots at the tip of the triangle to create a pom pom.

9) Finish with a layer of top coat.
