doakes, and why i think he is an awesome person.

first things first, what most people seem to forget is that what dexter does is wrong. dexter is an excellent father and a good brother most of the time, but if you get right down to it he is not a good person at all. he lies, (a lot.) he rejects affection a lot of the time and also he kills people, we cant forget that. (i still love him though.)

and doakes is a good cop. he tries to be a good cop. he is also a pretty good person. he may sleep with to many people but he truly cared so much about Karen. (That girl who got shot and subsequently all of that got him in trouble with the gangs.)

doakes is a good person, a good cop, and also he has some of the funniest lines in the show.

so just because he is a dick to dexter, and starts getting all stalker-ish, is because he knows something is up with dexter and he knows no one will believe him. he is just trying to save lives.

anyways im tired and i just wanted to say this.
