There is a new Netflix show called Anne with an E and it is based on the Anne of Green Gables series by Lynn Maud Montgomery. And I love it! I'm only three episodes in and it is amazing! They are true to Anne's character. Little Amybeth McNulty is phenomenal. Her Anne is vibrant and sassy, with a depth that I haven't seen done before. We see the happy Anne who can imagine anything under the sun, but there is also a scarred and hurt Anne from all those horrible places she's been and not properly been taken care of. I think it adds such depth of character to this iconic young girl, who for so many years has graced us with her vivacious personality and happy outlook on life. Give it a watch!! You will not be disappointed!
