No but hear me out THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING. It's not that her korean is bad, it's outdated!! It's just the 60s Satoori that she learnt from her mother, father and community - not that she never learnt it! The society shames people with a dialect or accent into thinking they're bad at the language when they have probably the wider vocab and more historically accurate pronounciation

if you have noticed some k-armys going crazy over this it's because as Jimin was closing the live and signing off, he read one last comment which was in heavy Busan satoori (dialect) and also replied in satoori back:

the english translation doesn't really reflect the type of language that was used, which is a bummer... so i just wanted to add more context and why it sounds more interesting in korean (also more domestic and casual)

if anyone is interested in learning 전라도 사투리 here's what we went over in class today. i didn't have time to translate it all into English bc the teacher was talking so fast 😅
