Deleted Yiga Husbands Fic Snippet

Sooo here’s what would have been the start of a fic that I’m not gonna finish because I started it months ago and now I have a better idea for it, SO it’s getting a complete revamp. However, I always feel bad about completely deleting stuff I’ve written, which prompted this xD

“Make way for Master Kohga!”

The chatter amongst the room quickly became silence. Dozens of Yiga scattered throughout the arena room, from high up in the rafters to the edges of the highly-dangerous, bottomless pit in the center of the room. Despite many patrolling and scout missions having been sent out earlier in the day, it was a packed house. The Yiga Clan was vast in its membership, and Kohga had called for everyone to meet in the arena.

It wasn’t Master Kohga’s regular arena-- that was off limits most of the time-- rather the much smaller version of it set up for the soldiers to train in. Experimental transformation techniques were practiced here where damage could be contained in the large empty space, as well as bystanders having a place of safety among the rafters to watch the inevitable chaos of training. Yiga members also used the space to settle bets, as it was the only room with ample space for a fight and a rambunctious audience.

Kohga stood at the South entrance of the arena, walking forth from behind a few other blademasters and Sooga, of course. He loved getting his own entrance parade any time he had an excuse to use it. Looking among the crowd, however, Master Kohga noticed a problem.

“This ain’t gonna cut it,” He turned to his left with crossed arms, “Sooga!”

Within a moment, Sooga walked to Kohga’s side, picked him up, and raised the stout man up above him.

“That’s more like it. Alright, everyone listen up!” The silent crowd continued to be silent.

I think I am going to go take a shower because I need to job hunt and I need to wake up at eight and go early so they are more likely to hire me. I know I will not wake up early enough to take a shower in the morning so I'm just going to do this now.
