Climate Change and Global Warming is getting scarier as time goes by and I can personally feel it in my hometown. Summer season is getting scorching hot than usual and rainy season could be a whole month without the sun properly shining. It can rain hard for just a while and it'll flood roads keeping us stranded. Their are continuous efforts by the government and non-government organizations to create ways like road/canal widening to counter flooding and even greater effort in environmental awareness and campaigns but it seems as if it's to no avail. It's getting scarier, really. It's scary to think that it's happening everywhere. Amazon was on fire. Flooding, landslide, eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoon, tornados, all these calamities are happening more rampant than they did in the past. We're slowly crumbling down. We're decaying alive. This Earth, it's fighting for its own life just like us, it's screaming for help but we chose to turn a cheek and be a coward, a selfish. We were created as caretakers of this world God has made. We're not the supreme being God has created, it's this world including above, beneath, and every space of it. We, humans, are important - yes. But we only come after this world's existence and well-being. Dear God, we're failing your purpose. I am personally and deeply sorry for my shortcomings as one of your creation's caretaker... Let me compensate for it as much as I can from this day on.

Some people don't fricking get it, do they? They don't understand how you can run away but not be a coward. Y

They don't understand how you can die but not be gone. How you can learn but not be wise, and you can be sad but not depressed. How you can be scared but not a baby. You can cry but not be weak. You can love but never be loved. You can smile but not be happy.

Life is not as simple as people make it out to be. You are not that simple, no matter how much they want you to be, no matter how mich they tell you you are.

This society has problems. But's it's not broken. There is nothing we can't fix, if we would stop believing lies and just love each other.

The little acts of service give me hope. The people who stay up and talk people out of suicide give me hope. The people who love others without a second thought give me hope. The people who help old ladies cross the street, who help the nerdy girl in the school carry her books, who learn sign language just to talk to the deaf kid at school, they give me hope.

Those are the people who thrive. The people who are not at all simple, but are beautiful in how they act. Those people will fix this broken world.
