Mitsuki and Masaru didn't dare speak, instead keeping watchful eyes on the street and the hallway. They had knocked all the stairs down to prevent any reanimated corpses from following them upstairs, though the particular area Izuku had them and a couple other survivors staying in had been mostly abandoned save for squatters.
Said child was in the living room with his mother. She came down with flu-like symptoms a few days ago. While they had done everything they could for her, their supply runs didn't yield any meds that could make a dent in the fever that was eating her away.
Nobody said it out loud, but it was pretty clear that Inko wasn't going to make it. So the Bakugou's decided it would be best to convince Izuku to hunker down for a couple days and give her a proper goodbye, or at least as proper as they could get.
Inko was laid across the couch, already halfway bundled up in a burial blanket. Only a single arm and her head was free. She had insisted upon the precautions in a fleeting moment of clarity, saying that she'd never let herself pass on to the afterlife if she hurt her son or the other survivors.
Izuku wore some thick cloth with cardboard wrapped to his left arm by some plastic wrap, an oven mitt covered his hand. While it certainly wasn't the best armor, it was better than nothing. He knew that there was a risk of getting bit when she came back.

I used to think the only way to have sex was to shove your balls inside her pussy. Instead of the peen.
A draft in the following pages I found myself better doing so telling the story in the past in some places.
Una bozza nei seguenti pagine mi sono trovata meglio a fare così raccontando la storia nel passato in alcuni punti
Sometimes making a person your home is terrible.
They are away for just a moment
And suddenly you are an orphan.
The Cold King: Draft
“I love you.” The jester finally mustered up the courage to tell the prince. The king only stared back. Along with the peers here to be entertained along with him. “Jester....” Her eyes met his in a nervous stare off. “That’s the funniest joke you’ve said in a while!” His still face turned into a joyful smile. His peers bursted into a loud laughter heard all across the throne’s hall. Even getting some of the maids to snicker. The jester stood there baffled. When the prince stared at her mid-laughter she played it off with her goofy smile. “N-nothing is wrong your royal highness.”Glad my joke worked!” Never had she ever been so embarrassed in her entire life. The laughter ceased and she continued her line of work. Even getting one of the prince’s face to pie her in the face. Smiles. Laughter. Uneasy or unsettling stares. It was all worth it for the prince’s joy. She was sent back to her quarters. Still laughing at her last joke. She looked down as tears suddenly hit the floor. Yet a smile was still plastered on her face. She leaned against the door and let it happen. Laughing and sobbing at the fact that the royal highness would never know the truth. For she was only a joke to him.
“Coo.” Constance raised her head. Hearing the butler call her name out. She opened the doors wiping her tears instantly. “Ya?” She said in a goofy manner as the butler sighed. “His majesty, Samuel would like to see you.” She flinched. “The-The king wishes to see me?” The butler looked down and scoffed. “Yes. Did you not hear me?” Constance shook her head and followed him up the stairs. The prince was heading their way until the butler stopped in front of him. He still had his cold expression on. One hair covering his eyes. His black eyes piercing the butler’s. His pale skin was more noticeable in the hallway as the sun beamed into it. “Slater...” Slater looked at the butler before looking back at Constance. “Why is she following you?” He said with no change of face.” The butler paused and took a breath before replying. “Your father wishes to see her.” Slater sighed and grabbed Constance from the side. “No.” Slater simply stated at he pushed her behind her. Constance’s face turned red as she processed what was happening. The butler flinched but grabbed her from behind Slater’s back. “She is going to go to King Samuel’s and have a talk.” Slater scowled. Constance’s face went flushed. “My prince don’t worry about me so much.” Slater turned to her and scowled. “Like I would ever care about you.” My father will just blame me if you get in trouble.” Constance smiled as her heart shattered. Even the butler could sense the tenseness. It would take everyone but the prince to realize that the jester liked him. Constance bowed her head and agreed to follow the butler. Slater reached out to Constance. “Wait you fool!” Constance slapped his hand out of anger and the butler grabbed her shoulder with just the right amount of emotion. “Hey you!” He scowled. He came to the right punishment and slapped her back. Constance let out a wince of pain as she heard chuckles behind her. She peaked over her shoulder and the prince was laughing. His hand was bright red but he was shaking with laughter. At that moment. She believed that he was laughing out of anger but little did she know the prince was laughing at how adorable the little fool was.
