Ingredients: 1 pack of dumpling wrappers. 1 cup of grated cheese cheddar or mozzarella. 1/2 cup of diced onions. 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers any color. 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro. 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes to the skillet. Saut until they soften, about 5 minutes. Stir in the ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend the flavors. Remove the skillet from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. In a large bowl, combine the sauted vegetable mixture with the grated cheese and chopped cilantro. Mix well. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the cheese and vegetable mixture in the center. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork. Repeat this process for all the wrappers and filling. Place the sealed sambusas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Baked Cheese Sambusas!
