We got to serve about 500 Sazeracs at Sidwalk Film Festival right in front of the Alabama Theatre! Huge thanks to Sidewalk, Lucid Absinthe, Sazerac Rye, Paul Hart, Jen West, and the amazing other folks that helped to make this happen. The wonderful photos were taking by Jaysen Michael of Secret Playground. We had such a blast screening our film and letting folks try this magical drink.

The New Orleans Sazerac at Bend & New Orleans Film Festival
The New Orleans Sazerac continues it successful festival circuit this fall with the Bend Film and New Orleans Film Festival this October. You heard that right, our short doc is returning to home turf to celebrate with ALL of the Sazeracs. Follow our journey between October 7 - 15 on Instagram. The event in Bend will be an intimate experience at The Oxford Hotel during the opening night reception. In New Orleans, we are pulling all of the stops with a partnership with Seed&Spark and the Sazerac Company. We'll be taking part in the Taste Of New Orleans party in the lawn of a Garden District home. Additionally, we'll have a happy hour just after our screening on Saturday Oct 15 at 3:30pm at the Ace Hotel bar. It's always the perfect combination to pair a screening of the film with a tasting of the actual drink.

HUGE NEWS! We are beyond honored and excited to announce that The New Orleans Sazerac has been accepted into the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the American Pavilion as part of the Festival de Cannes - Page Officielle! This prestigious program only accepts 10-15 projects each year. There have been many happy tears as we align our trip to attend what is considered to be one of the biggest film festivals in the entire world. Additionally, Airbnb is flying us to Paris as part of their new Live There campaign and providing Airbnb housing as a congratulations on our acceptance into the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase. This will help us get to and from France while offering an opportunity to see other parts of the country while we are there for Cannes. We can't thank them enough for their immense support! For the past 3 months, I've been pushing full steam ahead on a short documentary I've directed called The New Orleans Sazerac. It could not have been possible without the amazing team behind the camera and superb experts in front of it. I'm excited to continue to share updates about the project as we proceed, including screenings, film festivals, and possible events focused on the Sazerac.
