Season 9 Upstead Prediction:

Jay tells Hailey he 100% wants to marry her but not like this, not out of fear.

They move in together and Hailey goes to therapy and gets better.

Months later on a sunny summer day, Hailey invites Jay on a picnic. She’s packed wine and cheese and secretly picked out a beautiful spot at the top of a hill. But halfway through the long hike there, Jay is hungry and grumpy and wants to stop and eat where they are. Hailey protests, Jay protests, and in her frustration Hailey starts stomping back down the hill and hurts her foot. Jay Always-Be-Prepared Halstead renders first aid and carries Hailey the rest of the way up the hill so she can have her damn picnic. When they get to the top, Jay agrees it’s an amazing view and starts to unpack the food. He finds a mysterious box in the picnic backpack and turns around to see Hailey down on one knee. She proposes for real this time, with nothing but love and joy and the new top-of-the-line G-Shock Jay’s been eyeing. He says yes.
