We’ve shown you a few examples of the much more subdued orange that represented Princeton prior to when the College of New Jersey changed its name officially to Princeton University in 1896. This 1860s ribbon, found preserved in a scrapbook, is another example.

I wonder why West Valley High changed its school colors. There seemed to be a lot of green and white in The Karate Kid. But by Cobra Kai, the school colors seem to be blue and red.

Once you get started, you repeat row 2 until you are satisfied. There is a colouring pattern to maintain. It’s basically 6 rows of each colour. It’s been coloured to match possible school colours.

Happy Worldbuilding Wednesday (or at least it will be soon lol. Gettin em in a lil early this week) Lets talk about Color! Are there certain associations in your world for certain colors? Colors of mourning, colors of joy. Of gender or royalty or superstition or luck? Are some colors Forbidden to certain classes? Are there stories about lucky animals of a certain color? Associations with magic or myths? Hit me up with some hues.
Hmmm this is an interesting one. Nothing immediately jumped out at me at first. But the main thing are the house colors (part of this WIP was originally a joke about Harry Potter), but I haven’t quite settled on a system for them yet because I want to change them. The main school colors are different though and are Purple, Black and White.
I think the most fun example of color though is actually part of a subplot arc with one of my OCs. His name is Puck, and he has really interesting eyes, and an important necklace of the same color. They’re very similar to a more blue and purple variety of fluorite, and tend to change color a bit within that range. It all pretty much has to do with a certain type of magick in the series.
