ALL OVER THE WORLD Thanks to the passion, energy and commitment of our young citizens - this movement is growing around the world and getting serious! As many of you already know, my first language is Nature. I spent my childhood in the forest and my adulthood connecting to Nature in every way possible. Watching wild lands disappear to industry, agriculture and condominiums while species suffer from habitat loss and pollution has been slowly killing me. Finally, it's looking like things may change for the better. For the first time in a lifetime I am allowing hope to bloom. And yes, I will be marching with #GretaThunberg in Montreal on September 27th! Join us! Our planet needs all the help it can get!

This is it, isn’t it? This is the time to make or break. There’s no coming back from the next few years. We learn history at school, the holocaust, Hitler, women’s vote activism, black slavery. And oh the horror many of us felt for what happened. But we felt somewhat safe in our ‘normal lives’.

Well not anymore. 

With literal Nazi’s on the streets, racist and sexist men in the parliaments, widespread effects of hate rage throughout our planet.

Black kids, unarmed, walking the streets, black men and women, unarmed and cooperating with authorities. Shot, without a second thought, without a punishment, because they’re black, and automatically doing something wrong. Women, raped, asked what they were wearing. Men, raped, told men can’t be raped.

20 years left to save the earth, they say. And voices howl, people scream, were back to chaining ourselves to buildings, dangling off bridges, risking our lives and dying, just for a change for legacy, to save the planet for those who will come after us. 

And the public laugh. Were a nuisance, they say, bothersome, they say. As if being late to work/home is more important than the lives and safety of everyone on this planet. 

Not enough people are stepping up, taking notice. The only way the governments would care is if all the public went on strike. but they wont. Because the fleeting pleasures of today are more appealing than facing pain today, and peace tomorrow. 

And that is why we must continue our fight, continue to spread awareness. Because if we don’t, what will become of the human race? They will die, and only those who have faith in God may have a chance, if he is real. I hear many Christians protesting the protests, protesting pride month, and being racist. But join our fight! For God created the planet you are fighting against, and thus you fight him. 

We need everyone, from every religion, every race, every gender, to fight together for a better future for us all. And we can only fight that battle together. 

So step up, and fight.
