specfigender: a genregender related to speculative fiction; a gender related to the speculative fiction genre in some way; an umbrella term for any gender related to a subgenre of speculative fiction

i’ve been coining quite a few terms for aesthetics that have a genre counterpart, so i figured having an umbrella term for them could be good!! the colors are meant to cover the various aspects of different speculative fiction genres, such as scientific advancements, punk aesthetics, futurism, supernatural creatures/happenings, etc.!

i was kind of surprised i couldn’t find any steampunk genders, so here’s a couple!

I'd like to coin the term genregender (oof that's a mouthful, I'm not sold on the name if anyone has any better ideas?) Genregender is when your gender is related to a certain genre(s) of writing in some way! Genregender is an umbrella term, and includes things like fantagender (when your gender is related to fantasy) and scifigender (when your gender is related to scifi), for example! @mogai-and-me
