Since one of the next to fic’s imma post is Martyn & Scot (as kids) here’s a small teaser for smth that would happens shortly after the fic:

Aunty major put down the hot chocolate, both snug in their own blankets. Took about two second for Martyn to try to touch it and get his hand burnt

First time he spent any amount of time as Scot’s house and as they sat yheir bickering what movie to watch there was something Scot couldn’t quite keep quite about

“Yk permit master is also a opt-“

“Martyn.”

“Yeah?”

“You arent human.”

“Wha- yes I am!”

“No you aren’t!”

“Scot I may not know my parent but I know I’m human!”

“Then you must be dumb cause you are clearly not!”

“WHA- HOW?!”

“Cause humans don’t have pointed ears you idiot!”

“Wha-…” thought about it “yeah they do!”

“No they don’t!”

“How do you know?! You aren’t human!”

“Yeah but aunty had human friends and I’ve meet them and seen photos of them, non of them have pointed ears!”

“Wha- yk what, we should call on aunty major cause I BET she’d side with me!”

“And I bet she’d side with me! Cause I’m right!”

“Aunty major!!”

“Auuunty!!!”

“AUNTYYYY MAJOR!!”

Yk even if both Scot and Martyn were upset at this conversation, aunty major, was probably the most upset. (Note: she hates kids screaming her name

That day Martyn went from “the human boy” to: “idk what he is but he isn’t hybrid, he isn’t elf, he certainly isn’t mer or siren like Scot and the others here, and he DEFINITELY isn’t human”
