Little more abt me, I really like Utmv if the everything I post (not counting reblogs mostly) is Utmv centric (my post Tag is #Void posts btw)

Im a little shy, so I don't interact with Fandom too much, but I've been trying to comment positively more often when I can scrounge the courage

I like Minecraft as a game, not big in any other fandom other than Utmv but also do enjoy media like Gachiakuta, Anime with a particular liking to the Rencarnated tropes, Animation as a whole with a preference for the more serious/mature like Captain lazerhawk or deep lore like Demonslayer and Gachiakuta

I like to be chill, though I tend to block freely for my peace of mind

Ever curious, how would Graphite and Chalk react to someone whos like a gentle mother to them or just parental in general?

Well for Graphite, if they are a human he is just a hater. Regardless though, he would be a little disgruntled and annoyed because “I am a full grown adult I don’t need mothering”. Then again, he does recognize and privately acknowledge the consideration put forth. Doesn’t trust it, when it is directed towards himself though.

Chalk is actually the more outwardly abrasive surprisingly enough. The only guardian parental figure he has had is Graphite and anyone trying to step in on that is very suspicious to him. He would be worried they will try to replace him or take him away. He also just doesn’t like being treated as young or mothered and gets really annoyed at Graphite when he does that too. Whereas Graphite would tolerate being mothered and fussed over, Chalk would become sarcastic then very snappy.

Both would be deeply wary and suspicious. They expect some kind of catch or cost or hidden dark side if they don’t notice one. Care without a clear reason is not something they trust easily. If there is a reason made apparent or that they can recognize outside of “altruism” or “kindness” then they’ll be more cooperative. Either way, it would take time for both to adjust.

Unpopular opinion but if you don't enjoy the process you should find a different thing to do.

And I think this is true in general but now I'm talking about it in the context of AI.

If you don't enjoy making art and only care about the end piece and how it'll look and how much traction it"lol get online then making art is not something for you, find something you enjoy from start to finish.

Same goes for writing: if you do not enjoy writing and rewriting and then some more and instead want AI to write for you, being a writer is not something you should pursue.

Sure, not every part of creative process is going to be equally enjoyable but you should get satisfaction from solving the problems along the way and you should get a sense of accomplishment on your way of "making the piece yours" and you should have a sense of ownership once you are done.

None of these things will come from typing in a prompt into chatGPT. And I am sad to see so many people are missing on the opportunity to experience the joy of making something with their own hands and brains.

I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?

Make sure you’re legally married, for starters; stay-at-home girlfriends have very little legal recourse to claim their partner’s assets in a breakup. unless you want to teach small kids about a laundry list of sex acts, they're not going to even recognise many acts of CSA as sexual in nature. instead, we need to have children who are raised with an expectation of bodily autonomy and who feel comfortable complaining when they're made or asked to do things they don't feel comfortable with. we need children to have the expectation that those complaints will be taken seriously and that they'll receive backup to make sure situations like that don't continue. if their desires for bodily autonomy are consistently ignored, how can we expect them to speak out when something confusing and uncomfortable happens with their parent, cousin, or babysitter? we've already taught them that what they feel comfortable with doesn't matter
