Cassie assumes they are dating before they are. she tells her mother and the cop bitch. they belive her, and that helps them realize Scott isn't trying to do anything but be a family with Cassie. They mention it one dinner. Luis just rolls with it, thinking he asked out Scott accidentally and is happy about not having to find a way to acutally ask him out. Scott thinks he got with Luis by accident and doesn't really want to not be with him. a confusing win-win. until they are asked how they got together.
