Vrisrezi:

literally the most important ship in the comic. Their relationship makes literally everything happen. Vriska contacting John was because she was trying to compete with Terezi. Terezi felt like she was responsible for dealing with Vriska which led to shit. no spac [pt 2]. its just really good. they're weirdly obsessed with each other. its literallyd escribed as competitive codependency by hussie. its literally the best ship.

Vrisrezi is literally sooo important to me. The scourge sisters ever. They hate each other but they love each other but they're moirails. They hurt each other and loathed each other for a while but deep down they still caref about each other. Terezi regretting killing Vriska so much. Vriska loving Terezi but not knowing how to express it but showing it in her own way. Just. Them <33333333

Okay, you know what? F*** you guys, and f*** me because I don’t want to do this, but I’m doing it anyway. Here’s:

Why The Scourge Sisters Might Be Actual Sisters

Let’s start by looking at their shoes. No, the shoes that their dream selves wear.

They’re the same colour.

Now, I know that doesn’t prove anything on its own, but the dream selves of the related humans of the same gender have the same colour shoes, too:

And none of the other trolls have shoes the same colour as those of anyone else. (All above screenshots courtesy of the MSPA wiki)

The implication is that characters who share the same shoe colour and are the same gender are somehow related, and therefore Terezi and Vriska are somehow related.

However, it is known that both Terezi and Vriska love red shoes (well, Terezi loves red everything), so this could simply be a coincidence. Though I’m not entirely convinced. I doubt Vriska’s love of red shoes would have been added as a throwaway line if it didn’t have some other meaning.

This line (from Aranea to Terezi) also warrants a mention:

What Aranea could mean by this is that the Beforan civilization is the ancestor of the Alternian one, and she is thereby an ancestor of Terezi’s entire race. But she could also mean that she is, quite literally, an ancestor of both Vriska and Terezi.

I think there are two possible ways of interpreting that sentiment. The first is that she and Latula are (somehow) the genetic ancestors of both Vriska and Terezi. The second is that she and Latula are the genetic descendants of both Vriska and Terezi. The former would imply that Vriska and Terezi are as close of a genetic equivalent to sisters as trolls can have. The latter implies that about Aranea and Latula.

It’s never made clear what the actual ectobiologic process was in creating the trolls, whether the Alpha trolls were the true ectobiologic ancestors of the Beta trolls or vice versa. Personally, I think that it’s the first option, because the Alpha kids were the ectobiologic parents of the Beta kids. But it’s not certain.

One last thought: maybe the reason why a Vrisrezi matespritship or kismessitude has never been introduced is because they’re related and so it would be incestuous. I can’t say that for sure. But it’s not impossible

In conclusion, Vriska and Terezi might, genetically speaking, be sisters, as possibly alluded to throughout the comic. As an ardent shipper of Vrisrezi <3 and an equally ardent opponent to incestuous relationships, I do not personally believe this to be true. But it could be. Hussie only knows.
