Drukhari Scourge

I read "Rise" by the guy who wrote "Battle for the Abyss" (yeah, better not talk about this one, eh? 😂) and was pleasantly surprised. Even if the cover art was a big fat lie. I wanted to get to know more about haemonculi, and a story featuring one prominently on the front page really seemed promising. Well, it wasn't about the fleshcrafters. Or, not much.

But - there were Scourges! And, damn, those are fascinating.

Now I want to know more about those, too!

The Second House

The demon hovered over the devastated battlefield. His cursed soul rejoiced as he inhaled the stench of rotting bodies. Life had proven to be the deadliest of weapons, and it made him particularly proud. He exhaled in pleasure and millions of small spores and bacteria scattered across the barren lands in search of food. The demon crouched down on a rock. He was preparing something special for the next city. Pensively, he pored over the chemical compounds in search of the best cocktail that would satisfy him. He wanted everything to go naturally this time, with one single human soul dooming the entire city to death. The choice had to be made with the utmost care. With a smirk, the demon soared into the sky and disappeared between the clouds.

I finished Ville too omg

First time wet blending. A 2 to 1 mournfang brown/wild rider red mix into wild rider red on the wing tips. I like the results and it was definitely less fiddly than i expected. Only got 2 more scourges to do for this squad and only 1 with feathers so i dont know if ill wet blend again with this unit but im definitely eager to try out different colours on different textures.
